20. It wasn’t the rides that killed, it was the inappropriate actions of the unfortunate people killed. They violated the rules and should have known better. I hate blaming those who die but it’s like who is at fault for a drunk driver being killed in a one car crash? It’s not the vehicle manufacturer, the car dealer, the city or state who maintain the roads and make the laws.

    In June 1973, two brothers, 18-year-old Bogden and 10-year-old Dorian Delaurot, hid on Tom Sawyer's Island at Disneyland past closing time and tried to swim across the Rivers of America to avoid getting in trouble. Bogden, the older brother, drowned while trying to carry his younger brother, who could not swim, on his back. Dorian managed to stay afloat and was rescued by a cast member's boat, but Bogden's body was found the next morning.

    Guests: 18-year-old Bogden Delaurot and his 10-year-old brother, Dorian Delaurot.
    Location: Disneyland's Tom Sawyer Island.
