DO NOT GET THESE UPGRADES. These things will be a total waste of points that can be easily avoided by dodging. Get the kusarigama assassination skill though because it’s helpful for stealth. You’d be better off getting skills like perfect parry and dodge to slow time when you do a perfect parry/dodge. I’m not extremely good at the game but I have a platinum trophy if that’s enough credibility for you😂😂

I just realized that the weapon choice of ghosts of yote is basically a complete f**** nod to teenage mutant Ninja turtles the the spear Donatello the two swords Leonardo the kusarigama Mikey
You don't have to do any of that if you just go get the kusarigama
All you have to do is hold and release triangle and you will disarm whoever is trying to disarm you

Don’t waste your points on the projectile block so early, they literally telegraph every shot before doing it and the enemies around you will usually duck to avoid any arrows.
It takes a simple press of circle.
I’d say not to get the disarm counter either early, because you can just dodge disarm easily but-
I get not everyone is really good at timing.
This game isn’t really hard, I think I’ve only died when messing around.
I spent like an hour fighting the unrivaled boss that can kill you in two hits, and spending all that time practicing just made me really good at perfect dodge and parry-
The game feels way too easy now.

Am I the only one that doesn’t deflect arrows? I just keep dodging them, also that skill upgrade does not block bullets.
Recently went custom with difficulty and made hud minimal and turned off enemy status bars. It's another level of immersion
