At 2:51:15 you mentioned Marxsman, a Gmod artist. I was sitting here eating when I almost choked when I saw his profile picture because I and many of my friends who I met through Gmod artist circles, all knew this guy. He was such a douchebag, his entire "art" portfolio, it was just him recreating TF2 memes in Gmod which got lots of attention which gave him a bit of an ego. When we all learned about what he had did we were all shocked but happy to be rid of him.

25:13 – The reason Halloween items are often restricted is due to them altering character models enough to misalign them with the hitboxes. As such limiting them to specific, short time periods is done to prevent this from becoming an issue.

I have no problem with valve getting rid of political propaganda from their games. Im glad that they did remove the flags.
While Meet Your Match was terrible, i think there's one update that could top it, the Uber update. Not with any items added but with the fact the game became free to play. Before that, TF2 actually costed money. I'd be pretty pissed if i spent like 10 or 20 dollars for a game only for it to become free years later.

Im shocked there's not a single mention of the TF2 Emporium and how they are basically a group of abusive thugs who stole peoples' concepts for cosmetics and then accused the original artist of copying them.
A good chunk of the cosmetic items made by the TF2 Emporium are not original, low quality, troll items, or stolen.

32:28 surprised this wasn't mentioned but there's an additional layer to the DOTA 2 hats, not only were they added as rewards for the 2011 Gamescom International Championship, the people who won them never actually seem to have booted up TF2 to receive them. They are in an almost unique situation where the hats exist in the game technically but nobody has any of them, because they weren't interested in TF2 to open up the game.
Its such a bizarre situation as a result, the DOTA hats were created in-house by Valve as a cross promotional thing for their own game, they're actually quite high effort as far as crossover items go, but they only gave them to three people who never decided to redeem them in game. Its very unique and they are the only items I can think of that were technically, and intentionally, added to the game by valve but don't actually really exist in the wild since they were just never redeemed.

When the TFC Heavy questions Miss Pauling as to how the hell did the TF2 mercs manage to win, Medic chimes in with something along the lines of "It's because we don't have souls! Well, THEY don't, but-" before excusing himself
The Gargoyle thing could also be explained by the fact that, chronologically speaking, the comics take place after MVM, which takes place after the Gravel Wars. So the soul-snatching likely happened somewhere in that time frame
