For Michael Jai White Boxers are #1 in street fights? Do You Agree or cap? ππ₯
The first thing I agree with him
if its one on one, wrestler always gets the edge but if its one on 10 it is a very different story
Anyone who knows jujitsu will purposely take you to the ground .
Game Over
Imo
Muay Thai #1
Wrestling #2
Jiu Jitsu #3

Heβs 100% incorrect. You can do your own statistical analysis on YouTube. Somebody did about 10 years ago. 1000 randomly chosen fight videos and something like 892 ended up on the ground in under a minute.

I had my homework with a BOXER . I will not do it again.
I've seen boxers get taxed by a real freestyle street fighter's ( so yes cap on the boxers edge ) unless he gets off quick
As a karate guy I just wouldn't stop there guys shot a 1 armed unarmed man, so being an experienced street fighter, with the martial arts iq of fighting, and always going on reservations for killing anyone is involved, I say just everyone stop fighting all together because ppl are picking fights with disabled ppl n shit, now days.
My friends and I learned all 3 in Detroit. We had to. LOL! I was the better boxer and martial artist.(Tae Kwon Do)… my boys D and C were the better wrestlers… and my boy A was a great boxer too. We all learned from each other to be well-rounded defensively.
hes right cause boxers know whe an idiot is going for ur legs so that swift uppercut is nasty to an idiot
like where do ppl live to be so obsessed with street fight, am i just blessed and privileged enough to never seen any street fight ever
right on, boxers can knock you down with one punch and they are too fast to be hit easily
Jai whites an idiot
boxing, judo.
Judo is often underestimated because in combat sports like MMA, fighters don't wear clothes and their bodies are slippery for throwing.
However, on the street, where everyone wears clothes, there are many areas to grab and throw.
Unlike combat sports, where the arena is padded with mats, in a street fight, a Judo throw onto cement would result in an instant KO.
Regardless kungfu still hasn't let me down yet
Like it or not he speaks the truth
Muay thai is the most effective and its not even close πππ
Okay first of all I'm 58 years old, I grew up fighting, boxed for 7 years, martial arts, the list goes on, long time ago a lot of street fights in the hood. Here's the deal every time I hear him talk it sounds big talk but I have yet to see him actually fight! He tells you who will lose a fight who won't win blah blah blah and I'm like okay that all sounds good bro but I would surely like to see you throw some hands before, all this nice beautiful critique you do, kicking in the air and doing movies! This is just a fact…. When do we actually see you fight fight not just keep talking about it and telling us who can't do what!
I know martial arts and I would not feel comfortable fighting a boxer for the same reasons, my only advantage is I can kick an throw knees
One slam can end it, but a one punch ko is quicker.
The wrestler beats a boxer if they can side step and block. The boxer beats the wrestler if they can defend take downs or get up from one.
I don't agree with this. You take away a boxers legs or hips, they're out the game. Unless they suddenly become aware of ground fighting.
Yep, heβs right.
Laughs in mma
First 3 and you got literally combat sambo
Tournament martial arts no, ancient martial arts yes
I would give the edge to the wrestler. If they want you on the ground they will eat 2-3 punches to do so and I promise you your not getting up
Michael white is an idiot number 1 would be wrestling,, and mma would beat any of them,,plus all the hot takes he's said about the goat of fighting Bruce fukin lee
I disagree. Boxer's legs are always vulnerable. Boxers almost always have wide stances. To a muy thai/MMA guy, that's a leg kick waiting to happen while keeping distance. To a wrestler, that's a ankle pick waiting to happen. Then 10 years of boxing goes out the window. You get a prime Mike Tyson on his back, and he's not going to hurt you as a puncher. Just watch your ears.
Karate was one of the most feared fighting art in the hood between 1950-1970. Among minorities and poor working class whites, in the inner city ghettos. These people could barely afford their uniform let alone safety equipment, so everything was bare knuckle. Light punches to head, hard punches to the body and hard kicks to the head and body. After writing all this I realized that old school fighters were better at street fighting, than their modern counterparts.
Whoever is carrying is winning that street fight nowadays
I disagree, they may have technical ability, but they only have hands, street fighters use all parts of the body. There's no Queensbury rules on the street.
kick boxing #1
A wrestler is likely able to box enough to get to a clinch. A lot of people can throw hard and/or fast punches and even make you miss. Most people, boxers included, cannot stop a takedown from a competent wrestler.
Mfs will instead take tai chi or fucking ju jitsu. I hate ju jitsu and such a bs style. Moves take to long and predicated on you catching a flying arm before it hits your face
Wait boxing wresteling and thaiboxing is that not olso martial arts π€
1. Boxing
2. Wrestling
3. Muay Thai (Thai Boxing)
4. BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu)
Wrestler first..,.. no doubt
