Saw a video of an arrest recently, a dude that impersonated a cop and had firefighter clothes and everything in car, kitted with everything.
My thought is what has he done before? To me it seems he got semt out to get captured for impersonating a cop. This makes it so he is not reliable even tho he is main susspect of something else, and even then its a big stall on the original crime he did.
Kinda smart ,youst send him out in his police car, then he makes sure he get arrested and locked in.

A couple points to solidify. A Mauser action is extremely accurate as a general rule. Most hunting rifles nowadays still use the Mauser action which is a well over hundred year old technology. I heard they found a bullet in the rifle and one veteran told, that to put this rifle apart you have to remove the bullets. So he shot the rifle disassembled it put it in his backpack and then assembled it back together and put the bullet in to hide it.
