  1. "Successfully" the only success here was a bunch of old men creating a bunch of single young women they could prey on. Biggest waste of human life, and a well known failure of an operation framed as "the only choice"

    Bullshit

  2. Aerial photography suggested that the sand on some Normandy beaches might hide an underlying layer of soft, unstable peat. If true, this could cause tanks, trucks, and other heavy equipment to get bogged down, leaving them vulnerable to German fire.

  3. Two historical inaccuracies at the end of the video involving tanks
One they used 75 mm shermans not 76 mm shermans on D-Day
Two they used special DD shermans that floated themselves to the beach they did not put them on landing craft

  4. Successfully launch? That was a disaster with drown tanks, missed bombs and thousands US troops die on that beach. If you call this a success then Soviet Zerg rush to Berlin was one hell of a strategy.
