5. As someone who has lived in Texas my whole life, it’s truly crazy that Texas A&M of all places is dealing with hard accusations of supporting “transgender ideology”. That school is so widely known to be the big public school that’s much more conservative than most other universities. As I grew up people were always making jokes about Aggies basically being in a conservative cult lol (like I know a family where all three sons are named after the namesakes of buildings/sports fields on the campus and their one daughter has the initials A.G.G because they’re Aggies)

32. I've never been disgusted by your community until now Phillip. The words and comments you have here are some of the most deluded and abhorrent I've read in a while. Not only making light of a man who was slaughtered in front of his two infant children by someone who didn't like his words, but in making up straight up lies or out of context quotes in an attempt to discredit and shame a dead man.
    To anyone justifying the action in any way by quoting small snippets of things someone said out of context after they died so they can't even defend themselves; You people sicken me to the core.
    I'm not on any political side, I prefer not voting left or right because they're all awful. He was a man who had views that people disagreed with. And It's worrying how many people on here are blatantly lying about what he stood for and was fighting for.

    I've also seen people saying right media is calling for violence to the left, I've seen so many different coverages on this, left media, right, centrist, not one large network called for any violence to the left in response. The left media however excused it, attacked his character and even justified it, some even saying he deserved it even blatantly lying about how or why he was shot.

    Again I don't care about the political sphere in the sense of supporting any side, I prefer to stay out of it because politics are hateful now. And people arguing the 2nd amendment quote from charlie are wrong. The quote is out of context and is describing how if people want to kill you they genuinely don't need a gun, as is evident by the UK and the mass stabbings. If you remove the safety of some people deaths will not go down, and you just dearmed the population.

    I can guarantee you as well that I'll get people hating me for just having a disagreement, and that's precisely the problem now, "facts don't care about your feelings" is how the right looks at it, and "my feelings are the facts" is the left.

    In reality the actions and response from the left will only make the right more angry and hateful, when a trans person or trans supporter murders someone it makes people seperate themselves from the group or turn people who were previously neutral against trans people.

    As someone who is LGBTQ (not actively in the community because of shit like this) it alienates an already small group even more, and bring even further stigma.
