17. Pitts are great, but for the love of god. Don't have them around kids. Have a strong, confident male in the house and have the wife be competent with strong dogs. Like know how to get away and how to protect.
    These dogs, sweet as they are, will turn BAD on a dime, out of nowhere.

18. Typical rescue story, there are so many well meaning people who think they could help, only to abandon the dog. Please understand what you are committing to and give them time to acclimate instead of giving up right away.
