It sound like they are speaking because they have the same tone has human when they say the word they say but the cats mostly learn action and words from there owner and they feel the vibe in the room or time and say it when it that time or the vibe (for example: the cat says hello when the owner comes home meaning the owner say hello to her or his friends or parents when they come and the cat sees that.) (higher chance the the pronounce with be more identical if the owner says it a lot)

I have an outside cat named Ember. One time, I was eating breakfast and she walked up to the back door, which had the screen door closed and I was able to hear her. I asked her if she had eaten. She actually said, “Noooooooooooo” and looked really sad. It was hilarious!
