Me watching, having only seen Ringu, Ring 1, and Ring 2: 🙂🙃😞😭😮😫🧐 "Oh, two universes? Small Pox from watching a tape? Asexual reproduction? I don't get. Impregnated the whole theatre?? Oops, all Sadako???? OH, that makes sense…! No, wait, it was all to kill Ryuji? The fuck he do? Why are some Sadakos hostile and others not…? WAIT! I understand it now…! Ryuji is goated. Got it."
This is relatable with todays world. AI(Artificial Intelligent) companies collecting people's data and information, they can create a loop on where each people who fed the AI's with there data's(pictures, videos, voices) and information's(name, age, birthdate, etc.) will be replicated in that loop(digital world). Keep feeding the machine people, some AI CEO out there will make a digital copy of you.

Okay this might be a stretch, a really big one lol, and completely off topic kinda. But after listening to all this, I couldn’t help to see A LOT of similarities between these books and Call of Duty Zombies storyline. If you know anything about that, it gets extremely convoluted and confusing just like this, saitiko/Samara and Samantha are pretty close, simulations, loops, creators, viruses, clones of the same people, infinite timelines….idk….i could be tweakin…..just maybe the people at treyarch back in the day were big fans of this author
