Veridical perception refers to cases where someone has a near death experience (often clinically dead — no heartbeat, no measurable brain activity) and later returns describing real events in the physical world they couldn’t have possibly seen, heard, or known while unconscious.

6. The full version of the Golden Rule is Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, for as you do unto them, it will be done unto you, and by the same measure shall it be measured unto you. So it's not just a rule, it's a warning about what will happen. I only paraphrased the rule because religions phrase it differently. I mean there's Karma, Buddhism, Christianity, Satanism. They all basically say this. Even the law of attraction and game theory touch on this. You get what you create.

7. I had an NDE back in 2015. Before that I was a very hard-line atheist. 6.5 out of 7 on the Dawkins scale. A booming voice from the sky directly speaking to me about my inner-most thoughts and tomorrow's lotto numbers probably would not have convinced me (they could have been me from the future or parallel universe lol). But after my own experience, and hearing about these scientifically-verified accounts, and watching probably hundreds, if not a thousand, testimonies from every walk of life and every type of person and looking at how much they have in common. Even without my NDE, I would be convinced. There's just nothing that can account for all of this. And to avoid the ignorance-gap fallacy, there are also NDEs that provide understandings or knowings that are simply otherwise not possible. Like Dr Holden talks about.

17. Interesting discussion. Does science = materialism? There are many proponents of this idea, but this guest seems to be saying that science can also accurately study non-material events. It is something I have always wondered about.

20. I’ve seen loads of NDE videos they all claim a similar thing but there’s no factual proof. It’s just personal stories of their own experience as they perceived it. I have my own story of the death of my mother where odd things happened & I believe there’s something after we die but it’s not proof. But I hope it’s true so I can see my family again. 🙏

21. My father passed away back in October of 2024. He was 92. Months before he died, he told me about a dream he had. He said he was near this beautiful brook, just stunning colors and he just wanted to stay there and enjoy the scenery, and bright colors but he said he was told it was not his time yet. Well this past October his time came. My mother would go next in April of 2025. They were married for 67 years. My mom was in a home and didn’t want to be there, she had been suffering for years with mental illness and blindness. I really lost my mom to her mental illness about 15 years before she passed. Dad didn’t go peacefully but mom did. Dad fought, but mom was just laying in a hospital quietly peacefully for almost a week. My brother and his wife stepped away and I was sitting there thinking, what is mom waiting for, she’s not going to survive this and she should go home. I remembered from hearing about NDEs she was aware of our presence and everything going on in the room. I walked over with my wife, and I kissed her, and I told her all was forgotten and she was forgiven, and she should go home now with Jesus to be with Dad. She never woke up, but she took a real shallow breath and died. She was released from years of the torture of this world, losing all her family and friends, her eye sight, her mind, and then my father. Some things I learned from this experience I will share. There is life after death, and this world is not home, we are passing through, and we have absolutely no idea when our time will be up in this world. But I have the peace of mind of knowing where I will go when I die and leave this world. And you can too, because though this world is broken and everyone in it, we all don’t deserve it, but we can all go to heaven because the penalty for our sins (disobedience and wrongs) in this world were paid in full by Jesus. Accept him and his grace will be sufficient for you to die in peace, and you will wake-up in a place where the Bible tells us, there will be no more death, no more suffering, and Jesus will wipe away every tear. Let him love you, and take away your pain, fear and doubts, and when you do pass away from this world you will be welcomed to our real home, with our Heavenly Father.

22. Well, 👏 for science. God’s word to humanity, has been telling us there is an afterlife, what it is going to be, why we exsist and many other things science discovers each year. Science has brought some great acheivements but has also been flat wrong and had to make corrections, God is never wrong. The Bible’s prophesy have come true with a record no other authority has come close to has come close. Archeology, uses the Bible for it’s main source, and that science has also proven the Bible infallible.
