I’ve always thought Malaysia has some of the best Indian food outside of India, and today I’ll be going to eat some of the tastiest Indian Malaysian food in Kuala Lumpur.
Here’s all the places I tried:
Lawanya Food Corner (https://maps.app.goo.gl/PU49Rf9kTHQH2cXk6) – This historical Indian street food stall sells over 20 different dishes every day and people from all walks of life come to enjoy the delicious dishes. Price – 18 RM ($4.23)
Santa Chapati House (https://maps.app.goo.gl/dm1tb66LU3jM8tca6) – Santa Chapati House is a staple of chapatis and curries, and their freshly griddle fried chapatis and fish curry is a perfect combination. Price – 7.50 RM ($1.76)
Restoran Chakra (Puchong Mess) (https://maps.app.goo.gl/tYc4UeJAHF2xzuA89) – But of all the Indian food in Malaysia, eating a banana leaf meal is the greatest meal of all time, and this was one of the best Indian banana leaf meals I’ve ever had. Price – 60 RM ($14.09) for 2 people

I was in the far East in the early sixties, helping to defend Malaysia from invasion from Indonesia. I served in Brunei, Sarawak and Singapore, which was still in Malaysia at that time. The dish I remember most fondly, was a simple one: keema roti. I can't remember whether it was a chapati or a paratha, but it was just drenched in a spicy sauce and wrapped in a banana leaf… absolutely delicious!
Everything looks so good!
Yes

Mark was in my housing area! Missed him!! Eating at Puchong mess. Good food especially crab curry, lamb and chicken varuval. I haven’t been there for nearly 5 years after they overcharged me and didn’t apologize or make amends. Just check yr bills carefully as they tend to be very busy.
ఇండియా పుడ్ ఇండియాలోనే తినండి… అదికూడా సౌత్ ఇండియాలోనే చాలా చాలా రుచిగా ఉంటుంది❤❤❤
Love it, but I will need a fork.
Gee that looks tasty, could I have a knife and fork?
9:47 uncle Roger says “waoaooow!”
8:00 waooooow!
Not sure about using your hands to add the ingredients to then lick the same hand to taste

Get a spoon and a fork , people eating like that is nasty , there is a reason they are a third world country , too dumb and poor too know any difference.
Wow! That food looks amazing!!!!!
How does Mark eat so much yet still stay slim? As a Malaysian, and growing older, I can never seem to shed the pounds 😢.
There bodies smell like what they eat.Smelling of fish and strong spices all the time.
Wow so amazing
I am all for authentic. Used chopsticks years before my friends. I have to draw the line at eating food like this with my hands. Fried chicken and pizza, sure, but forks and knives serve a purpose. I know chicken piccata would taste fine with my fingers. Can't do it. (Oh! Yes. I get the hands with mutton on the bone.)
I love how in Indian cuisine, every plate is like a mini buffet. You get to try wide varieties of mini dishes on a single plate.
I'AM ASTONISHING ABOUT THE QUANTITY OF SPICES THIS PEOPLE USE IN THEIR DISHES… I'M SURE IT TASTE WONDERFUL!!! THANKS MARK FOR THIS AWESOME VIDEO AND FOOD!!!
Immm so hungry now 😂😂
