One Person Dies in Pedestrian Accident Near 5th Street [Highland, TX]

Highland, TX (July 16, 2025) – 25-year-old person of Victorville tragically lost her life after a pedestrian accident near 5th Street.

According to authorities, the deadly crash happened on Sunday evening at the intersection with Church Avenue.

Reports say that two vehicles fatally struck a pedestrian. Authorities later identified the victim. Around 11 p.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Highland Station responded to reports of a pedestrian-involved crash. When emergency crews arrived, they found person unresponsive in the westbound lanes of 5th Street. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
