maybe the dog is deaf?😬 idk she seems super unresponsive
Weird. We found, what we though was, a border collie at a gas station. He was the same type of totally shut down. He was just standing in the rain by the pump, matted, covered in dozens of ticks, and all of his bottom teeth broken out. Scooped him into the car, let him settle for a day or two in the garage, gently deticking and combing out his mats. Gave him a bath, took him to the vet etc. Vet said he was most likely kept in a cage outdoors most of his life, tried to chew his way out. Estimated age of 6 years old. He totally brightened up after that magical 3 month mark. We ended up getting him a DNA test, and he turned out to be a great Pyrenees mixed with a Boston terrier (???) So hopeful to see the same transformation in another puppy. Lovely work.

This dog's fur is the most beautiful colour so once she is cleaned up etc. she will look so different and be very lovely !!!!
