  1. I almost wonder if that's a coy wolf. Domestic dogs, wolf, and coyotes do interbreed sometimes. It's acting odd for just a random coyote.

  2. I don't get why you would confiscate a coyote raised by someone and used to humans then lock it up in a sanctuary instead of rehoming it. they aren't all that different from dogs, just more skittish. one of my friends had a coyote that he claimed was a dog their mom had found wandering around, but it was rather obvious from the way it behaved and the fact that it looked exactly like a coyote. Still very affectionate and friendly, just had a habit of constantly biting gently to get attention and making a snarling face at times when you approached too suddenly.

  3. I fully agree with this policy of putting Carmine in a sanctuary. But he did not live happily ever after; he got captured, was taken and stripped of freedom without consent. Let's not forget it's still a jail without choice.

  4. What a shame he cant live in the wild because humans would probably kill him for just being a coyote…. some humans are disgusting.

  5. I'm happy he has a mate but living out rest of their lives in a cage when he was previously free is not exactly happily ever after… he had better life before 🙁

  6. Coyote: Hellow fellow mama in two legs, i heard that your kind provide roof, safety and food if i am a "good boy" and let myself to get tammed… so… here i am…

    Probably.

  7. This looks like a hybrid between a dog and coyote. There's already significant domestic dog dna in the average coyote from interbreeding across the centuaries, that "coyote" has a pretty intuitive understanding of domestic dog verbal and body language.
