Dropping knowledge 🙏🏾
Stances are nice and basic, but being fluid in a fight helps more than being boxed in. It’s better to be adaptable so your opponent cannot easily read your next move
Even if you’re just gonna watch the fight while you drink beer, this is a good position
Sir I know the best way no be around anyone now no fight right Sir thank u for the video
Not sure I totally agree with the belated stance thing. In Mui Thai a more squared stance is definitely helpful and on the street whatever stance you happen to be in when you are attacked will be your fighting stance.
❤ Exactly what I learned in Combat Fighting.
👍👍
I'm not sold on the angle of the fore foot demonstrated here, unless it's facing the opponent.
Beautiful.
Didnt get this
Where do I find the positioning video?
In the street fight, if you're boxer and managed to throw punch first can knock out your opponent, you win. If you can't, you're done for..
I think this would feel too rigid for MMA and invites takedown attempts
Hi nice quick break down. For boxing it seems like a great stance. For Muay Thai, the body would be less of a target, but the leg is more exposed for the leg kick. Maybe you can train checking from this position till it’s not a problem anymore, but your offense from the lead leg attacks still seems like a problem. Seems like the footwork for teeps, switch kicks, and long knees wouldn’t be as fluid. If you could explain further or do you know any famous fighters that have great Muay Thai offense from the lead leg specifically while in the bladed stance I could go watch?
Seasoned Muay Thai fighter will low kick that front leg soon as the read is done, & weight is on it.
I agree, the bladed stance is PEAK
Where’s the link to that positioning video?
❤ thanks again
Nah. No good
Lead leg gets swept. Blade is a bad stance in multi-discipline fighting.
Having your lead leg positioned that way is a recipe for broke legs and it limits the directions you can move
I Agree.
