when I was in Las Vegas roughly 19 years ago there was a GWS in an aquarium. There's a nice picture of me and the fam with it behind us. That said, I don't think they have any anymore. According to the listing they currently feature blacktip reef shark, sand tiger shark, and Galapagos shark among others, but no great whites anymore.

i'm more shocked about the fact that a Shark died after 3 days without eating, there's no way it starved in such a short period, the cause of death must've been different.

There literally are Great White sharks in Japanese Aquariums even now, I've seen them multiple times. Oh well just make up what you want – who cares.
