  1. My neighbors threw out a rocking horse and my dog was afraid of it 😂… when I would walk him he would make me cross the street till the garbage people came and picked it up

  2. Um that’s not necessarily aggression. Pits are smart and I’m fairly confident he just saw a toy not another dog in no expert on animals but when it comes to pits that looked like play not provocation

  3. Both are poor training. Owned big dogs all my life socialized and trained each one. Neither were reactive, reaction requires first an action. The demo dog did nothing no action. Have never had any unsolicited action from any dog I have owned after they got out of the puppy stage and were trained.

  4. I grew up in the 50's and it was different then. If the Dog dont Hunt, it goes. If it attacks it is GONE already. We didnt have dog packs because we hunted them down. AND Fighting Dogs NEVER crossed our minds. We freaked when that Wash Quarterback was caught fighting them.

  5. There's a 3rd type: a selective dog. Dogs that won't approach the dogs they want nothing to do with, but don't want them in their space. These dogs may be selective to same sex dogs, maybe to other sex, maybe to puppies. I personally wouldn't put these in the "reactive" category because they are not reacting to the mere sight of these dogs, it's only when they don't want those dogs in their space. One of my dogs is this way. Will never approach the dogs he wants nothing to do with and will not react just by passing them like this, but if they initiate play or are in his face, then he sets his boundaries. Specifically with intact males that are new to him.

  6. I have a dog that's reactive and I really want to help her. She's about 3. Got her from my mom's coworker when she was just a puppy. She's super food aggressive (towards other dogs, not people) and sometimes out of nowhere gets aggressive over play time with my other dog. Before I got her, she had to fight for food with her siblings bc the person that had them just threw a little food out in the yard once a day for these 4-5 puppies. After taking her home I later found out all the others died. I just want to do what I can for her to have the quality of life she needs. I don't even know where to begin though tbh.. 😔

  7. How do the Dogs think the demo dog is real?
My 2 high prey driven Lurchers wouldn't bat an eye at it (Unless you've done something to it I don't know about lol)

  8. Lets also take notice of how realistic the two "demo-dogs" look compared to one another… One looks like a StateFair 🧸 While the other one being attacked looks realistic, with an open mouth . Big difference in the two "demo-dogs" body language/appearance.
Don't take videos like this seriously if you're thinking about buying an American Bully…
    This is very misleading.

  9. Over the years 4x, four different Pitt bulls where the “ONLY” dog breed aggressive enough and try and attack my Gentle Giant
(Irish Wolfhound ) who gets along with everyone!
All four times the Pitt was pinned in Two seconds!
Just remember there is always someone bigger!

  10. The second one is like mine – a bull terrier – these were bred once to dog fight. Mine is a sweetie with humans, but he has an intention to harm other dogs, that's why he has to wear a muzzle and a prong collar when we go out. I am gradually getting him calmer around other dogs but it's a long process. He can walk past barking dogs more often now. I'm not sure he will ever be neutral, but I care enough to keep trying. He was a rescue and had problems with a dog the other owners had. I had another dog when I got him, a couple of spats which I closed down and they became best buddies. It is possible. A so-called dog trainer on SM tried to blame me for the problem!!

  11. Both are aggressive dogs, just a difference of intensity. The first dog moved right in on the decoy without provocation. That's not reaction, that's aggression. The first one was smart enough to realize it wasn't real so he stopped.

  12. Body language is two different conversation the eyes tell two different things look at how dark those seconds dogs eyes are and how wide the first ones are. You can see the whites of their eyes. The other one is lock on and going in ahead while the other shrinks and scrambles behind.

  13. Having my dog with me tends to dissuade other dogs from being agressive. Hes a black mouth cur but is an absolute beast when it comes to protective instincts despite being the size and build of something like a malinois.

  14. Realizing my dog is reactive and not aggressive. She’s great around other dogs, cats, animals, even babies and kittens, but she will run up to other dogs, specifically male, and nip them on the nose like this and I didn’t understand it. She’s such a good girl most of the time… Definitely need to look into this. Does anyone know why? I raised her from like 6 months old and have a few cats that she seems to like. She mostly chases them and they don’t mind being licked to death. I really hope it’s not an anxiety thing I’m not understanding.. I only want my girl to be happy..
