7. Watching this reminded me so much of the tiny pup I rescued last year. She was skin and bones, terrified of everything, and wouldn’t even let me touch her for days. It broke my heart seeing how much fear she carried for such a small body.

   Progress was slow at first, and honestly, I wasn’t sure if I was doing things right. I wanted to help her feel safe, but I didn’t know how to rebuild trust from scratch. What really helped me understand her was reading The Puppy Book by Luke Carter. It wasn’t just about training — it helped me see things from her perspective and gave me simple ways to connect without overwhelming her.

   Now? She’s a completely different dog. Confident, playful, and finally comfortable being loved. It’s amazing what consistency, patience, and understanding can do. For anyone on the edge of giving up — don’t. These little souls just need time… and a bit of guidance.
