  1. What happened was alll pies are connected to the underground the snow or rain eats the ground and can do the same thing to the pipe if it gets far enough down called erison . That is what rust is and why drywall crumbles

I’m looking at the long nails in the base board when you pulled it from the bottom of the wall and the copper pipe that was close to the wall at the bottom,so I’m thinking what everybody else is thinking,that a nail went thru the pipe when someone was nailing up the baseboard,sorry to hear that,I hope everything turned out ok

  3. You need to get the flooring up, baseboards off, maybe even drywall off, fans and heater going to dry out the floors before mold starts growing.

  4. I've been installing baseboards over the flooring I've installed and have never gotten a callback for this. Maybe my 18 and 22 guage nails aren't enough to get through pex pipe.
