I'm really looking forward to a video clip where the 'explorer' is creeping around tentatively saying "Hello" …… and then, from somewhere close by, a deep disembodie voice says "Hello" back.
It amazes me that none of these videos ever suggest the possibility that some of these 'Urban explorer' creators maybe aren't as 'alone' as they try to make out. The possibility that they've gone to places in a small group or with a friend who then hide and make noises while the main dude walks around and pretends to be terrified, pulling the most obviously fake 'shock and fright' faces they can and treating us to some of the worst acting even the Asylum would be ashamed of. You only have to to look at some of these channels to know everything is faked.
They have weird experiences on EVERY single outing, pretty convenient. The most believable ones are the channels who almost never post 'paranormal' or 'freaky' content and just go around filming abandoned places, then maybe once every now and then does something odd happen.
I used to do urban exploration, not for Youtube but just for my own enjoyment and apart from a few homeless people, who are rarely violent and will usually try to bum a smoke or some spare change off of you, I've NEVER come across the paranormal, strange entities or animals that stalk me, eerie bangs and sounds, it just doesn't happen. I'm sure there are weirdos out there who will try to scare Urbex people and I'm sure there are the occasional incidents where creepy things do occur, but not on the scale these channels try to make out. I bet over 80%, maybe more of these Urbex videos are staged and that's really sad. It takes away the impact of genuine videos.
Starting to think this is an AI channel. Same flat tone, uses the same verbiage every time, and in some of he videos what the narrator is describing is not exactly what's on the screen like the AI is confused how to narrate.
For those of you that don't know, Dan Bell is an amateur film maker and all his videos are staged and scripted 110% nothing even questionable about his videos unfortunately. On the bright side he has the balls to be up front and honest about scripting and staging his videos. Unlike 99.8% YouTubers in the UrbEx grnre
