In the case you didn’t know what each case was:
Loganair 6780: On December 15, 2014, a Saab 2000 operating as Loganair Flight 6780 from Aberdeen to Sumburgh was struck by lightning during approach. The autopilot remained engaged, leading to conflicting inputs and a rapid descent. The aircraft came within 1,100 feet of the North Sea before pilots regained control and returned safely to Aberdeen. All 33 occupants survived.
Midwest Express Flight 7/Midex 7: On September 11, 2001, this flight, piloted by Gerald Earwood, was en route from Milwaukee to New York’s LaGuardia Airport. During its approach, it narrowly avoided a midair collision with United Airlines Flight 175, which had been hijacked and was heading toward the World Trade Center. Air traffic controllers urgently directed Flight 7 to make risky left and right turns to avert the collision. Shortly thereafter, Flight 175 crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center. All 35 passengers and crew aboard Midwest Express Flight 7 were unharmed.
Daallo 159: On February 2, 2016, a bomb concealed in a laptop exploded aboard Daallo Airlines Flight 159 shortly after departing Mogadishu, creating a hole in the fuselage. The suspected bomber was ejected from the aircraft and died; two others were injured. The plane returned safely to Mogadishu. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack.
Whale 05: On February 6, 1991, during the Gulf War, a U.S. Air Force KC-135E Stratotanker with the callsign “Whale 05” encountered severe wake turbulence at 25,000 feet over Saudi Arabia. The turbulence caused the aircraft to roll violently, resulting in the separation of both engines on the left wing. Despite the significant damage, the crew managed to stabilize the aircraft and safely returned to Jeddah Air Base. There were no injuries reported among the crew.
Piedmont 1489: On August 2, 1989, Piedmont Airlines Flight 1489, a Boeing 737-400 en route from Washington National Airport to Charlotte, North Carolina, experienced a malfunction with its left main landing gear. The crew diverted the flight to Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, North Carolina, for an emergency landing. Upon landing, the left engine and wing scraped the runway, producing sparks and smoke. All 101 passengers and crew members evacuated safely without injuries. Investigations revealed that a wheel chock had been inadvertently left in the wheel well, jamming the landing gear mechanism.
Ural Airlines 1383: An Airbus A320 made an emergency landing in a field near Novosibirsk, Russia, due to hydraulic failure and fuel issues. No serious injuries among the 170 on board.
Korean 902: A Boeing 707 strayed into Soviet airspace and was shot at by a Soviet fighter jet. It made an emergency landing on a frozen lake. Two passengers were killed; others survived.
Nationwide 723: On November 7, 2007, a Boeing 737 lost its right engine during takeoff from Cape Town due to a faulty bolt. The crew safely returned and landed without injuries. The engine separation was traced to a maintenance error.

Also, I would have liked to have seen the Fed-Ex, Flight #705❤, which was hijacked in APRIL, 1994, by another Pilot, who was UNKNOWN to the Cockpit Crew, who was catching a ride using the [jumpseat]. The hijacker Pilot, attacked the [3] members of the Cockpit Crew, and they were BEATEN within an inch of their lives, when this guy used a hammer, spear gun, etc.
The [3] Cockpit Crew members, were able to gain control of the Pilot hijacker, and the Captain and the Co-Pilot, were performing all kinds of Maneuvers with that, DC-10, that should have caused the DC-10, to break up, but that badARSE aircraft, held itself together. The Pilots, the Flight Engineer, and the DC-10, are HEROES, in my opinion.👏❤ They deserve a LOT, of credit. Oh, and the hijacker, is serving LIFE in Prison!

✈️ Air Astana Flight 1388: A Near-Disaster Averted
On 11 November 2018, Air Astana Flight 1388, operated by an Embraer ERJ-190LR (registration P4-KCJ), embarked on a non-revenue repositioning flight from Alverca Air Base in Portugal to Almaty, Kazakhstan, with a planned stopover in Minsk, Belarus. The aircraft had recently undergone heavy maintenance at the OGMA facility in Portugal.  
🚨 In-Flight Emergency
Shortly after takeoff, the flight crew encountered severe control issues. The aircraft exhibited erratic behavior, including uncommanded rolls and dives, making it extremely difficult to control. The pilots declared a Mayday, reporting that the aircraft was “completely uncontrollable” and considered ditching into the sea.  
Despite the challenges, the crew managed to switch the flight control system to “direct mode,” bypassing the flight control computers, which allowed for partial control of the aircraft. After approximately 90 minutes of struggling with the controls, and with assistance from Portuguese Air Force F-16 fighter jets, the pilots successfully landed the aircraft at Beja Airbase in Portugal. All six occupants—three pilots and three engineers—survived, with only one minor injury reported.  
🔍 Investigation Findings
The investigation revealed that during maintenance, the aileron control cables were installed incorrectly, causing the ailerons to operate in reverse. This misconfiguration led to the severe control issues experienced during the flight. The maintenance error was attributed to inadequate oversight and insufficient quality control procedures at the maintenance facility.   
The aircraft sustained significant structural stress during the incident and was subsequently written off as a total loss. 
🏅 Recognition
The exceptional skill and composure demonstrated by the flight crew in managing the emergency were widely recognized. They were awarded the Gordon-Burge Memorial Award for Outstanding Courage and Devotion to Duty in the Air by the Guild of Air Pilots and Air Navigators.
