  1. Im a senior person myvwife and I adopted a senior Scottish terrier a few years ago she was 13 when we got her and gave her two more really good years before we had to send her over the rainbow bridge. And we dont regret it for one minute . Please give senior dog a chance when adopting or any dog for that matter. It alot better than spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a pet.💯👍

  2. Our previous dog was also surrendered and no one wanted him. He was around 8 years old. Sadly he didn't stay long with us, but I'm glad we could give him some love in the end :')

  3. THANK YOU Mom for raising your children to be KIND. & LOVING People ❤ your daughter is a Special. Soul and has so much LOVE in Heart ❤ GOOD JOB MOM ❤

  4. Please NEVER run with a dog. Especially an older dog who will keep going to keep up with you. We learned the ultimately hard way that it can kill them..,,,,just trying to help others from the pain.

  5. My son and girlfriend adopted the sweetest dog 6 weeks ago. She’s not a senior.. she’s 4. There was little information about her past except she was given up twice . The second time it reportedly from allergies. They have the sweetest closest bond with this sweet girl “ Nova” and it’s a mutual admiration society😂. I tell them she lucked out with them because they are the best but my son quickly responds “ no we lucked out with her”. I also fell in love with her at first sight . My next dog I’d like to rescue . All dogs ( and cats) deserve love and good care.

  6. Agreed. Thank you to anybody who adopts a senior dog. It's too hard for me to go thru those losses so soon. One of my neighbors is dying and had to surrender his 8 yr old. Poor dog.

  7. I ended up with a several time surrendered pooch, that was on a hunger strike, not sure his actual age, was told around 3, but think he was quite older, no way of telling.
