Palm Strikes?? Underrated or Overrated? 🤔
When I was younger, I always questioned in star trek why no one seemed to punch anyone. Now that I'm older, it kinda makes sense that they moved away from that. Not only is a palm strike safer for the person fighting, but it delivers just as much force as a punch does without doing as much damage to the person receiving. After all, it's their goal to end the fight with as little damage as they can.
You can tell that Katt has a respect for Theo that he didn't have for Joe Rogan. Because Theo is funny! lol!
Michael always passes off knowledge
you can brake your carple bones though. Either way people not use to hitting do not know how much it hurts to hit someone.
Jai White… the Seagull killer 😂
You can still fracture your wrist bones with a palm strike
I was in a fight in the 5th grade where I kicked a girl. I saw her in 6th grade, went to say "hi," and as we talked, I saw her leg, and it had a mark. I asked her if that was from the kick I gave her, and she said it was lol.
Someone's been watching bas
Say what you want about the man, but he's actually super chill and humble. Met him at an art gallery once. He's just a nice guy. Marvel needs to hire him for SOMETHING.
Bas !!!! Fuck yea palm strikes are OP AF
Got jumped by 6 dudes, leg kicks are the only reason I’m around probably.
It takes 11lbs of force to crush a windpipe.
Palm of the thumb to tip of the nose sends your nose flying into the brain, killing your opponent in one swift hit.
Male tiger claws.
elbow is the strongest
Where is his professional fights?
the funny thing is i used to condition my hands arms and legs just for fun. i got to the point i could palm strike a tree and break into the bark and a little bit of the tree. if it was a smaller tree that i could wrap my hands around i could break it in half with 3 or 4 hits and i felt no pain from it at all. any time i got into a fight i had to remember to hold back and use my fists so i dont accidently hurt anyone to bad. palm strikes would def be my go to in a life or death situation tho.
If anyone feels a slap doesn’t work then go watch the slap competitions 😂
My grandpa gave me an old school “E-Honda” sumo palm strike after I slammed the door after he told me to close it. Sent me through our patio window.
Never underestimated a palm strike again. 😂
I can listen to mjw talk like this all day
Its called the kung fu open palm technique,
There's tons of shit I learned from video games, that I can practically apply to life.
One of those things that, in a fight, people don't instinctively block low; That's something you need to train, so unless its a trained fighter, theyre not gonna expedt a leg kick.
Also, E. Honda was my first intro to the concept of a palm strike lol
Leg kicks leave you defenseless.
Palm strike? Last resort. You can end up standing in court for a one punch homicide.
Bas said all of this already 😂
To be fair, you can know how to punch and still break your wrist/fist.
Pff i can run!
great advice but talking about hurting your own wrist with a punch then recommending a leg kick is kind of crazy lmao
To make a fist shows intent. Open palm defensive posture
and saying GET BACK! Even if you were to strike first.
That alone could make a significant difference in legal proceedings, especially if someone is filming the altercation.
Leg kick, not just people don’t know how to defend, most people legs are weak as fuck
I broke my hand doing a palm heel before. I hit the bag so hard it swung back and thit the wall it was mounted to
When I first started training Muy Thai, I thought I was bad ass after 2 classes. I got into a fight at school because I was being bullied, which is why I went to learn Muy Thai in the first place. I did win the fight, but I broke 2 knuckles 😂 😂 Boxer's fracture, typical noob mistake
Palms strikes are OP. I was breaking colored training boards way above my belt level with them. ATA as a child so nothing serious but still.
Nice, really
Bas Rutten agrees 😅
Ahhh hammerfist works pretty similar if your using the fat area under the pinky you could swing full blast bam and really do damage to them and I mean it’ll hurt but not as bad as you’d expect
Leg kicks in a street fight would be diabolical lol
