2. Seems like, to me anyways, there was a lot of emphasis placed on advancing entrepreneurs. Not everyone wants to be a "hustler", an entrepreneur or wants save the world. There are plenty of people who are happy to give the bulk of their time to their families, hobbies and interests and they just want a job to pay the bills. That's who's going to get hurt the most and these people don't care…

3. Research has been done that most people don't like their jobs. One's satisfaction in life should not be tied to a job.

   The real problem is people do not know their own history. Their trauma. Everyone has trauma from their childhood. No parent is perfect, all children get hurt.

   And very few are healing proper. Of course no job will fix that. No lifestile changes will. Healing will.

8. i feel like these tech people are searching for a progress no one asked them for… during the industrialization of the 19th century, those in charge saw the benefits to the technology, but everyday people were exploited and i feel like this history is repeating itself and will repeat itself. we are part of nature, and this technology is taking us away of using our bodies to function or even work and make us fill fulfilled.

   The goal of an 'education' at the hands of the state is to breed a standard citizen.

   Not teach you everything you need or will ever know.

   Rather, pass down the basics of mankind's knowledge in math, English, science, history,etc.

   If all circuits die tomorrow, the basic education should allow rebuilding of society with the help of books on every subject.

   The contention that we turn everything over to our new overloards – Ai – and move on is dopey as it gets.

   Citizenry still maintains a basic level of knowledge in a civilisation.

   The contention that you just start a business is ludicrous. This new society expects an Iq of 100 or better. That means that 40% of society no longer have a place.

   Those will have to either – merge with machines or work in an augmented reality simulation.

   Get back to reality.

   If a society gets too uneven, too quickly, the result is civil uprising – check your history.

   If half the population is on social security in 5 years, think about what will happen.

10. The communities being made after Cov are so amazing? That was happening before Cov-since the 70’s. It’s telling that the only picture that was painted by red was pretty and not acknowledging the immensity of the harmful outcome that was caused by Cov. The constant referencing of “my friends in Silicon Valley “ did something amazing is also telling of what a small bubble they’re living in. I’m all for Ai, but listening to this conversation, Bret is the only one who’s offering a balanced view-and to me he can sometimes be too much of a fatalist, but here he is appropriately challenging the preposition of glorious for all! ?!? 25. I write lots of code over the past 40 years. AI is now as of June 2025 able to do 99% of my coding and IT work. It will just get better and can now handle very large code bases today. Software developers are cooked. 90% layoffs will happen in the next 1 years. Notice how someone with no experience was able to build a working website? Imagine how AI works with someone who has decades of experience like me. I’m averaging 3000 lines of code changed or added PER DAY. That is a line of code every 10 seconds for 8 hours straight. It has literally made me with 40 years of experience 100 times more productive than an average developer. This is different, not like any other improvement/advancement that has ever happened. Don’t make any major purchases

26. Who will be the consumers for all these new great businesses if 1/2 the working force is not working? Consumers are needed for businesses to sell their product.

31. The red suit doesn''t know what he's talking about. AIs are not limited by what we teach them or how we train them, not even close. A while ago, an AI defeated the best human chess player, I believe it was Kasparov at the time, but, as the red suit said, that AI was just a more efficient player that basically used the same strategies and moves humans had taught it. And then a new AI was created that was just given the rules of chess and allowed to practice and learn on its own. Said AI not only ended up developing strategies and moves that humans hadn't thought of in thousands of year, it also destroyed, and I mean destroyed, the AI that had beaten Kasparov. Conclusion: this guy's understanding of Ais and what they can do is decades behind the times. God help us all if it's people like him who drive the development of AIs, jsut spouting positivity while completely ignorant of what is really happening..

    These are largely a few tech people who present what they've created to business who are fearful that, if they don't jump on the bandwagon, they will go out of business.

    We, the consumers, are being drug along the way, to our own doom and obsolescence.
