0:00-0:10 Everyone is still on a high from the Champions League win?! I got a bit sick before this video, but I ended up being fine, lol.
0:20 Did everyone see all the Homecoming videos? Arsenal went wild, and it was fun to see! Katie McCabe was going wild! Haha!
0:40 So many people have crushes on Renée Slegers! Hehe (we do too). People are in love! Very mesmerizing!
1:15 The homecoming parade was awesome! Was anyone there? They said they had more people than anticipated! Very cool to see! PARTY!
1:35 Going back to the big game, I wanted to talk about two things. First, some people had an issue with the title of our last video because we said the Arsenal win was miraculous. (They have a point! LOL.)
1:57 It wasn’t miraculous. It was a plan that they executed—all talent and determination. We read a few comments from our last video.
2:28 Comments were very true! I needed to look at it more that way!
2:47 The plan of attack against Barca was awesome! They did it! They weren’t going to lose!
3:02 I saw this on TikTok. Why did Barca lose? ( a simplified statement)
3:15 One of the things that led to Arsenal’s goal was Stina’s reputation for being offside?!!
3:50 Barcelona players, particularly Paredes, were too quick to appeal for offside instead of trying to block the shot Stina made.
4:32 When the ball was being shot, Irene already had her arm up. Not focused on stopping the shot.
5:03 I’m sure they all studied film, and they know Stina goes offside a lot.
5:20 Why be that worried when they will check it for VAR anyway? Sarah was not happy with my analysis, lol. She thought I was being sassy, lol.
5:49 I think they raised their hands prematurely—it didn’t help them. When I saw this TikTok, I thought I, as an untrained eye, even noticed that.
6:29 Comments on that TikTok saying, “Yeah, why were they raising their hands?” It’s crazy.
6:45 If there wasn’t VAR, I would understand more, but they are Barca; they know what they are doing! (In a good way, lol)
7:05 That isn’t to understate what Arsenal did; it’s to appreciate what Arsenal did.
7:23 We are going to change directions. With a shocking announcement: MARY EARPS is retiring from international football! Just 35 days before Euros!
7:46 We read from an article about the situation. Kind of confusing why now.
8:10 Sarah found a lot of joy in this typo from the article, lol.
8:33 Back to the article.
8:58 Retiring at an interesting time, wow—she has been thinking about it for a while.
9:10 Did Mary “rage quit” because she wasn’t going to be number one for the Euros? It was going to be Hannah Hampton?
9:30 She didn’t want to go to the Euros to sit on the bench? She didn’t want to take that time away, and she wants to focus on club soccer and recovery.
10:00 I saw this on TikTok—it’s a concise telling of what is going on.
11:32 We just don’t know what is going on—it could be either. Timing is weird, but that doesn’t mean much. She thought if other players could get experience, why not give it to them?
12:00 She has done so much for English soccer: Euros, World Cup, SPOTY! Very huge!
12:15 When I first heard this, it reminded me of an interview that Leah Williamson did. She said she knows very little about Mary because she is so private!
12:40 She’s so private even Leah doesn’t know much. Makes me believe whatever it is could be a lot of things.
12:55 Comments about people understanding why Mary retired.
13:10 Telegraph article saying how selfish Mary is being (don’t agree).
13:30 Another comment about people understanding where Mary is coming from. Doesn’t want to get hurt.
14:00 Just shocking, and I hope she is okay! Just making a choice. Her teammates seem very supportive.
14:40 GURO REITEN AND HER PARTNER JULIE NILSSEN ARE EXPECTING A BABY!
15:00 Julie looks pretty far along! Congrats!
15:10 Julie and Guro are pretty low-key. They have been together since 2023. Julie is an alpine skier!
15:50 Jagger Mewis-Kerr is going to have a playmate! Guro and Sam are great friends—the four-pack: Millie, Erin, Guro, and Sam!
16:15 There was a lot of homophobia around the web. Guro is very pretty, so men get extra upset when they find out she is gay. Very sick.
17:09 SO MANY BABIES!! BABY CENTRAL! More protections for mothers—both who carry and who don’t—so it’s safer to have a baby now!

  1. Getting rid of the old Coach gave them a huge boost. I knew he messed up the second he had a falling out with Viv and getting rid of her. I think the players played not so well so they get rid of HIM. As soon as Renee took over the players got back into the groove just couldn't stop Chelsea but we stopped Madrid, Lyon and Barca. COME ON GIRLS!!!

  2. Excellent Vlog, as usual 😊. I thought Arsenal were just phenomenal, and I cheered them on loudly, which is something I could never bring myself to do with Chelsea 😬. I know, I know, it bugs me that (as a City fan) I ‘hate’ Chelsea so much, but it is what it is…

Also! Thanks because I’ve just realised that this is probably why Bunny scores so much for my beloved Man City! ! Like Stena, she is always offside..but we know, we City fans, that she’ll lure the defenders out and score at some point!
Haha, listening to this as i’m typing: “You know Gay Haters just makes us Gayer, right?” 😂. Well said girls!! 🌈

As for Mary…oooh. I keep changing my mind over this, tho i’ll NEVER EVER be a Mary hater! She is an England LEGEND, and has left Goalkeeping in the women’s game in a FAR better place than she entered it. But..sigh. Hannah Hampton is the Real Deal. She absolutely deserves that number 1 spot 🔥. But she’s basically all we have, for now, going into these Euros?! Strange time to quit, methinks (but i love you Mary).

  3. How come England can not go to 2024 Olympics ? coz Mary lose so many⚽️⚽️⚽️ HH up is real… don't still stay in 2023.. because 2024 is poor ….

  4. @SaraSarah a friend of mine who works in the football industry has said Mary Earps retired because she lost the no1 spot, she was angry she wasn't playing, so decided to retire, she said to my friend who works in the football industry that she wouldn't play for England again even if they begged her to

  5. Barca weren't focusing on Stina, because they expected Beth to shoot, or pass elsewhere and it's a 'no look pass', and Stina takes by surprise after all she has to steady the ball, it's one of the best assists ever, in the mens and womens game. It's dreamy, and Barca were unlucky as Stina's shot went through the legs but fantastic Arsenal win.

  6. Why Mary Earps talking like she's 40, saying is to give the younger generation an opportunity to thrive. She's still young herself, maybe her love for the game has shifted.

  7. What if Hampton gets injured before or at the euros, you always need a minimum of 2 good goalkeepers, the timing is very bad for England.

  8. Barcelona was outsmarted by Arsenal, and this also shows by the way its players were rather looking for the offside than stopping Stina from scoring.
So happy for Arsenal and of course Manu Zinsberger.
Mary Earps probably thought of retiring from international football for a longer period, but Wiegman's decision for Hannah Hampton might have just strengthened this decision.
    Congratulations to Guro and Julie!

  9. Sam Kerr is just as bad an offside offender as Stina. The point is Sam risks offside all the time but once in a while she gets it right and scores the vital goal

  10. I was buzzing after watching Arsenal’s trophy parade then the shocking news of Mary retiring knocked me for six . She is an England legend & also from my home town & must’ve had a very crucial reason to announce this so close to the Euros . We will miss her

  11. Mary Earps is a big baby. Stina is a big game player. I know she doesn’t like all the attention. unlike Earps. 🤦🏻‍♂ Congratulations to the whole Arsenal team. coaches, players staff, well done everyone. 🏆

  12. I'm more of a women's hockey fan than a women's soccer fan (although I did buy seasons tickets for the Ottawa Rapid of the new Northern Super League!) but I'd say the same thing to homophobic soccer fans as homophobic hockey fans: There's no place for you in the women's game. Far too many players are queer in women's sports for you to be comfortable. Be uncomfortable, and go away.

  13. I was there on Monday 26th May 2025. Whoever said that there wasn't going to be many people turning up are truly mistaken. It was fantastic.

  14. What the Barca players did by raising their arms trying to get the offside call was instinctive. The woman normally do not play with VAR. To expect them to switch their brains to not raise their arms is not reasonable. I expect the Arsenal players would have done the same thing had the position been reversed.

  15. They play with offside, and they train with offside, so it's instinctive: when an opposing player has received the ball in that position, they know as defenders they are beat 80% of the time, so they raise the hand. They're not at fault: all defenses play the same.

  16. Barca lost bc they played horrible. That was thee worst performance I've ever seen from them. Really, they should have decimated Arsenal. Their quality is better. Love Arsenal, but Barca are something special, truly unstoppable, BUT, hey, that's sports, if you don't rise to the occasion on the occasion, then you ain't worthy on that occasion. They deserved to lose on that day. Arsenal performed better. Prediction: next time they face each other Barca will come looking for revenge. But isn't that what makes it all so much fun? That tension creates some great games. Looking forward to future matches now.

  17. Lifting your arm as a defender, usually the one further away, is normal. It is a reaction even if you didn't see it correctly. The ref decides and it doesn't really matter what player it is. We try to get the offside whistle.

  18. Congrats to Guro & Julie! It is DEFINITELY baby season. Sophie Smith, Mallory Swanson, Alex Morgan, Sam & Kristie, Ramona Bachmann and her wife and Kailen Sheridan's wife is pregnant.

  19. That was nonsense the goal was scored because the Barcelona players thought that Mead would take a shot on goal and they run to her, yes it was bad defensing

  20. Barca forgot another Stina's reputation, that is scoring for Arsenal in every Finals she played in. In the last two Finals (League Cup) that she played, she scored. She scored the only and winning goal last season as well.

  21. Mary is a great keeper and personality. I noticed she wasn't at the World7s despite DAZN putting her in the video thumbnail (presumably they thought she'd be playing), so maybe something else is going on, and she's admitted to struggling mentally before. But whatever the reason, she's left England in a situation where one injury to HH means that we are left with Keating in goal, and let's face it, she's too young, too error-prone, and has zero caps. Sarina needs to recall Roebuck, despite her lack of game time, just in case.

  22. Never mind the reasons she left, I am missing Mary for England already. No disrespect to the other GKs, I love women's football for the players having strong characters.

  23. Beth made sure she passed to Stina when she was onside for the first time since she was a barn (child in both Yorkshire and Swedish).
Barcelona had their own Yorkshire player, Ellie Roebuck, but we did not get announcer mispronunciation giving an honorary extra one "Una Batley".

  24. Really disappointed with Earps attitude. Lost her place in the team so she flounces off in a strop. Did exactly the same at Utd when they missed out on the Champions League. No sense of team spirit or selflessness for the greater good. Now we only have Hannah Hampton with an international appearance five weeks before a tournament. Selfish beyond words but at least she's consistent

  25. I watched Barcelona on DAZN since Lucy and Keira went there. I have got annoyed at them claiming offside before in league games, as though the ref will give them preference. It made me think of the referee issues in Spanish men's football.
