That footage of the Coast Guard brought tears to my eyes. Those men and women are heroes, plain and simple. May God protect them always.
At 82 years old, I’ve seen a lot, but I’m still in awe of Mother Nature. Thank you for reminding us how beautiful and dangerous she can be.
My heart aches for the people caught in these disasters. It’s incredible how fragile and yet resilient we are in the face of such raw power.
I’ve lived through hurricanes in Florida, but these scenes still gave me goosebumps. God bless those brave souls who face nature head-on.

Back in my day, we didn’t have cameras to capture moments like this. Watching now, I’m both amazed and humbled by what this Earth can do.
As an old Navy vet, seeing those towering waves brought back memories of storms at sea. Nature doesn’t ask for permission—it just takes over. Powerful stuff.
