Following the death of Beatle, Bunny has got two new ‘perfect’ puppies – Ziggy and Zanthe.
Bunny talks about why she chose these Jack Russel cross pups to share her garden with her and how she will train them to keep off the borders.
Top tips such as how to stop them chewing things you don’t want them to chew, different ways to keep them occupied and entertained to minimise mischief and what you can do with dog poo.

They are gorgeous and love your thoughts about them and dogs in general and in the garden . I’ve always enjoyed sharing my garden with my dogs . The snuggle beds look great , I might try one for my wire haired dachshund pup . Look forward to seeing your two pups in future videos . What a lovely garden they have to play in .
Obviously absolutely adorable, thank you for showing us your little prescious charges. I also love the little black and tan ones from Ireland. We've always had JRs, I wouldn't want anything else, the perfect package for us. They are tough, they are in fact what is known as a landrace, well the good ones are like yours, this means very sound genetically speaking as they are tweaked with other breeds and not bred for one shape with pedigrees but for function what ever that might be. So in breeding is avoided. We lost one for seven hrs when she went to earth down a rabbit hole. She was that small that she travelled some distance under ground, a football field distance away from where she vanished under. It took all sorts of equipment and listening devises to track her underground then a team of muscle men had to dig until they eventually found her a metre down. Even then she wouldn't come out had to be pulled out by the tail still growling and digging. She wasn't hunting bred, at least not in her most recent ancestors. So caution around rabbit warrens, at least be aware where they go to ground if they do and maybe attach a tracking devise to their collars if they will wear one. Those sleeping bag things look perfectly lovely, I'm going to try and find some. JRs love sleeping under something, including under our duvets, tickling our feet with their wet tongues.
I loved seeing your beautiful girls. I lost my malinois 10 days ago at just 6 years old. As a loyal breed I greatly miss him. However, garden wise, winter is hard with big breeds.
In sw wales. So I would like to look at a smaller breed. I had a jack Russell and across Lancashire heeler when my children were younger and they were lovely characters.

Your video caught my eye because I’m adopting a puppy ( well six months when she gets here ) from Spain that looks exactly like yours . There were two , the other sister looked quite different , like a cairn and initially the rescue that I volunteer for didn’t want to split them as they are very bonded , but having done a lot of research I learnt that there is a thing called littermate syndrome , siblings adopted together form such a tight inseparable bond that they are only interested in each other …which is ok , but what can also happen is when they reach full sexual maturity they can fight …and not play fighting …serious . Doesn’t happen all the time but something to be mindful of …a responsible breeder shouldn’t sell two together .

My border terrier who is now 14 has been the most amazing garden companion, Yes he dug when he was very young but he had a designated digging space and soon grew put of the habit. He loves being in the garden with me, he inspects everything I do, tastes all the veggies as I pull them out and he has particular fondness for zinnias and echinacea so I make sure to plant enough for him too.
May I suggest when they get a bit older, be very careful leaving them together in a car with your older unrelated terrier, unattended. Which is another way of saying (IMHO) don't leave them together, in a confined space unattended. I have learnt about jack Russels the hard way; they can be both, the best and worst of dog breeds.

Your new pups are absolutely adorable! We lost our beautiful Irish terrier last month. He just missed his 15th birthday and the house was not the same so now we have chosen a dear little Cavapoo who will be ready in April. There were two males so it was really difficult to choose between them. I wish I could have had the pair but it wasn’t possible.

The yelp mimics when their siblings bite too hard.
It also works when they nip a bit hard when playing us.

I have a rather small garden with over 400 roses and many other parennials and a rough collie grandma😊. Today Buffy is 10 years old, however when she came to us, she was 2 months old, and did not pee in the house even once. Also pretty emmediately got the idea that flower beds are off limits. We were choosing the dog for 2 years going to dog exchibitions, doing tests on line (which dog will suit our life style) and talking to breaders. It is very important to choose the dog which will make you happy and who will be happy in your home.❤
Those pups will surely adore life with Bunny. They already seem well behaved in the garden…coming back to Bunny and nibbling on her wellies! XX

I heard that you shouldn't get 2 same-sex jack russells because they tend to fight. My parents had 2 female JRs and there were many bloody fights.
Bunny, we all love a puppy and you definitely need to choose your dog carefully but sadly rescues are overflowing please support them.
