Sorry, I heard no mention of Jesus in this experience. If you went to "heaven" and there was no mention of Jesus, it wasn't heaven. The only love connection you can have with God is through Jesus. The word of God says that Jesus is the only way to heaven. How does this happen? By believing that Jesus came to earth, lived a perfect life, took the penalty for our sin and died on the cross. He was raised on the third day, was seen by many and ascended into heaven. He will one day return in glory and power. Its all about Jesus, and only Jesus. He is the only way to heaven! Dear one, yes, God is full of love and compassion, however we need to turn to the word of God that says "but God who is rich in mercy because of His great love with which He loved us even when we were dead in trespasses and sin made us alive together with Christ, by grace you have been saved….for by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God." This is the gift God gives, salvation through Jesus.

Given all the ground breaking work and research by Dr. Bruce Greyson (at the University of Virginia and author of the book AFTER) and so many other respected scholars on the grounds for the validity of NDE,s I can't understand the Mayo Clinic treating your experience like that. One ignorant doctor, sure, but people who specialize in psychology should be more familiar with the abundance of confirming research. It started with Dr. Moody 's book (LIFE AFTER LIFE) as far back as 1976, and has become somewhat mainstream today – at least to the point of establishing grounds for credibility, rather than passing out pills and treating someone like a mentally ill nut job. Though there is some truth here and the story sounds, nice unfortunately this women's experience is a deception, she did not go to Heaven and I don't believe she was in the presence of God. Her experience lacks Jesus Christ the only way to the Father and Heaven.

Though she does say she was raised in a Christian family and knew about hell she knew nothing of salvation through Jesus Christ nor how to test the spirit to know if it was of God or not.

This experience is of the new age theology and her lack of knowledge of the bible = Gods Spoken Word is why she was deceived in the first place. With out Jesus Christ there is no Salvation and the fact that she is not in hell is a good thing.
