  1. Mega has massive quality issues, I’ve had 2 sets that came with pieces with 0 clutch power. I’d be glad to see them gone if it means Lego take over PokĆ©mon

  2. Dude im so done with fuckin scalpers like i go to walmart to get me some pokemon cards OUT OF FUCKING STOCK I GO TO A WALMART THATS 6 HOURS AWAY FROM ME AND ITS OUT OF FUCKING STOCK

  3. These are possibly the stupidest reasons I’ve ever heard. For the first reason, who cares? If Mega can’t handle even a little competition then this was inevitable from the start. For #2, there shouldn’t be a Lego pokemon set because… people will buy them? Like yea, obviously scalpers will buy sets, that’s what happens to literally any product. If you’re always worrying about that then no company should ever release any new physical products. And the last reason doesn’t even make any sense because you don’t know the full extent of what’s gonna be released

  4. Ngl you guys wouldn’t care about the new sets if people weren’t buying them like that I almost guarantee that half you pandemic collectors would stop in a heartbeat if scalpers stopped buying pokemon to sell yall wouldn’t want it willing to bet money on it legit this was happening before stuff went crazy again think about before all this how many etbs would just sit on your Walmart shelf

  5. i only regained interest in pokĆ©mon cards during this shitty timešŸ˜‚ luckily i flew to asia to collect japanese cards it’s so easy to find them

  6. Lego and pokemon do not work you need too many unique pieces to have them actually look good, also mega the sets are fantastic and are super good quality

  7. not mega nooooooooo nooooooo šŸ’”šŸ’”šŸ’”šŸ’”šŸ’”šŸ’”šŸ’”šŸ’”šŸ˜°šŸ˜°šŸ˜°šŸ˜šŸ˜ fuck man what will i do without mega

  8. Lego is at a worse spot, I mean just look at the Chewee or the Sorting Hat from StarWars and HarryPotter respectfully.

The all in all quality was and is rubbish at Lego and don’t get me started on the prices .

Lego got cheap and I am afraid that this is gonna put a big dent into the market

  9. Im more uneasy that the partnership will litertally be only two to three sets. Not including Minifigures, which im guessing will be around ten of them and thats it.

  10. I will be honest.
I love PokĆ©mon it’s one of my most beloved franchises ever.

I have been absolutely obsessed since as long as I have consciousness.

But I have completely stopped buying any form of merchandise.
It’s just so hollow and depressing.

I just don’t care about PokĆ©mon like I used to.
I play the games. But that’s it, otherwise my joy for new things has been lost.

  11. I don't think we are gonna receive Ash or Team Rocket minifigs, since kids aren't growing with them on the screen anymore, if we even get some.
Maybe one of the Lego fan made made official sets could be.
Also, why do you worry if Mega Blocks dissappear?

  12. Iirc Mattel announced a complete rebrand and reinvention of their building brick line at Toy Fair. Also Lego scalping isn't a huge issue. Sure you might not get sets right away, but Lego's always been good at meeting demand and Pokemon scalping rarely effects anything other than the TCG.

  13. The only reason I see this as a plus is mega bricks don’t hold together as well as Lego and they will be more sturdy because I built a lot of them and if you touch them they fall apart
