11. My grandma lives in texas and she has experienced quite a few tornadoes!
    One story bout it' !
    It was a normal day and we all were having fun in the living room like eating pasta, cookies, baking cakes and more!
    Until my sister screamed and she said that she saw a funnel cloud ABOVE our house!
    Like it was ABOVE and you could see it properly [it was a cloudy day btw]
    My grandma went out and she warned us to go into the laundry room as it has no windows and is surrounded by walls!
    We hid there for about 3 hrs and my grandma and mom was in the kitchen preparing for food to eat and closing all the doors and windows!
    But they forgot to shut grandma's bathroom window and after the tornado we saw that the tornado completely ripped of all the drywalls of her bedroom and the bathroom [no one was injured btw]
    Much more happend and i cant write evrything so BYEEE

15. The most terrified I have ever been was when I witnessed a wedge shaped wall cloud just rapidly rolling across the horizon. But it was a dark brownish hue, due to the soil it was displacing and sucking up. Most disturbing of all was you could see the rivers of updraft racing across it, causing parts to roil faster than the rest. I grabbed the neighbor's dogs, who were huddled up on our porch and got them into the garage just as the storm struck… and boy did it strike.

    Second most terrified was the Derecho of 2021, after destroying Iowa, it came here and I watched my beloved 25 year old maple tree bending almost nearly in half as my mom's house shifted on its foundation.

38. My dad got caught outside in quarter-sized hail when he was a kid. Fortunately, he was delivering newspapers, so he crouched down and held the bag of papers over himself as best as he could. He still got a few welts, but nothing serious.
