Sweet boy!!!
Beautiful cat..such a sweet woman. I hope he stays indoors all the time.
@0:57 life feels very long to me. Those that say it's too short have it easy.
Thank you for taking him in,you are a compassionate, loving lady. The idiots who told you not to take him in should have a little try of being alone and homeless and see how they like it!
Thank you for having such a generous and loving heart. You did the very best thing for this sweet and beautiful baby. He is loving you and Lizzie! Best of luck to you all. (I had a kitten I named Kitty Baby many years ago.).
I understand wanting to help, but this feels more like rescuing a pet for personal satisfaction than what's best for the cat. Some animals are better off staying outside.
You did the right thing, and you're an amazing cat mom! I wish you, and your kitties, good health!
Nothing wrong with him being an indoor/outdoor cat.
Great to see the two cats made friends eventually. Good that you didn’t listen to the advice and let him inside. At the end of the day, if he hadn’t wanted to live inside he would never have come in. You definitely did the right thing! 👏
Thank you for giving him the home he always deserved.
The rescuer carefully gained the cat's trust by feeding him, speaking to him, and providing a safe outdoor space with warmth during cold weather.
Beautiful magpie kitty. This breed is also called a Harlequin. I have one and they also have a fascination with running water. My Sadie is a very sweet and intelligent kitty. I LOVE seeing her play soccer with her kibble. Lol
God bless rescuers ❤
It's fine that he came in, as long as he's NOT locked-in, as cats are hunters and need to be free to roam!
Feral cats are always better off inside. It is always better to have more than one cat, which you have. They can always be tamed. Just takes time and patience. A telling point is that despite being feral, after they get over initial fear, they always find the comfortable, cozy spots on which to curl up and go to sleep.
Yes, you did the right thing! He’s seems quite content! He seems to show little interest in going outside. He will continue to become more comfortable with his environment and WITH YOU over the weeks, months and even years! Thank you for rescuing the beautiful boy!❣️🐈⬛❣️
2:20 that's such a good sign!
Gotta LOVE 'em, & I LOVE 'em ALL❣ 😼Meow 🐾🐾❣
KUDOS TO HER! It’s always right to bring them inside. It’s so much safer than 24 hours outdoors- even just day time outdoors. I’ve rescued about 2 dozen outside cats over the years. Once they had the good life, you couldn’t pay them to live outside again
Thank you for saving him and giving him a great home indoors! Outdoor is not a safe and healthy place for cats to live. ❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think since he's used to being an outdoor cat, you should at least leash train him to take him on outdoor walks. Cats are animals and animals love nature. It's sad that he will never experience that again 🙁
You totally did the right thing! Domestic cats are not wild animals. Wild animals evolved in certain habitats, which are often very different than suburban situations and the domestic cat is poorly suited to very cold temps. They are very different in their needs than wild cats like cougars or bobcats. Stray cats suffer a horrible existence. People that say "let him stay wild" are simply ignorant about animals and the native habitats, adaptations, conditions, etc. Thanks for your kindness towards him.
I love him❤. He's so beautiful
He's adorable!! I've socialized several feral cats with only one fail– the 3rd brother of a trio i "adopted" from my alley when i moved into my current house; his brothers moved in and would go back out and hang with him but i COULD NOT get him inside for anything– and all the feral cats became fantastic additions to households that adopted them (i kept the brothers ❤). Lizzie is adorable too!
This was absolutely heartwarming! The patience, love, and care you showed in gaining Kitty Baby’s trust is truly inspiring. Seeing him go from a cautious stray to a polite little gentleman who wakes you up with a soft "excuse me, Mom"—that’s just pure wholesomeness! The way you respected his pace and never forced anything really shows how much you understood his needs. He couldn’t have found a better home!
Speaking of stray cats, did you know that a cat’s ability to form bonds with humans depends more on early socialization than genetics? Studies show that kittens who interact with humans between 2-7 weeks old are much more likely to be friendly and trusting, while those who don’t may take months or even years to warm up—just like Kitty Baby did. That makes his transformation even more special!
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful journey—it’s amazing how much love and trust can change a life. Looking forward to more updates on your sweet little gentleman!
You did the right thing for him. Thank you.
😮wow!!! Cute littlr kitty. Thanks for rescueing the kitten.
God bless you. 😊🙏 All my cats were indoor/outdoor all my life until I lost three to coyotes. So I brought the rest in. At first they HATED it, but eventually they came around, even one who had been an outdoor only cat whom I adopted as a stray. So it can be done! But you have to get over a few humps first. ❤️😻🤗 And they LOVE catios! Outdoors, but safe.
Thank you so much.
Kitty Baby hit the jackpot when he was rescued by his wonderful human. ❤🥰
Cats do not belong outside. It’s dangerous and they kill so many songbirds.
Thank you for taking this cutie in. Cats need to be kept indoors. For those who thnk their cats are safe outdoors, its always too late for regrets when something bad happens.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm glad you didn't listen to comments most likely from people who never even had a thought of adopting a homeless animal. Their lifespan outside is short with disease, starvation, no shelter in all climates and fear every single day. This cat to me, may have been someone else's cat, perhaps an elderly person who ended up in a nursing home and the family let the cat outside to find its own way rather than bring him to a shelter. He does have a very gentle personality and he's friendly towards your other cat. I have to say he is one lucky cat to find a home with you. Hope you have many years of funny cat antics ahead.
I rewatched your video & noticed you calling him Kitty Baby. Oh how many Kitties I've called Kitty Baby. Just rolls off the tongue.
All it took for a scaredy cat I got, who also hid under the bed, was to get a kitten!
This scared male cat bonded hard with that kitten and they were bff's until the end.
I miss them! 😢
Good for you. Sweet
YOU DID THE RIGHT THING. I HAVE TAKEN IN 7 STRAY CATS IN MY 70 PLUS YEARS AND RESCUED OVER TWENTY THAT WERE IN A COLONY. THEY GOT TRAPPED, NEUTERED AND PLACED. I HAVE TWO OF THEM. FERALS NEED TIME BUT THEY WILL GROW TO TRUST AND LOVE YOU. IT'S THE BEST ❤
Aw, he’s beautiful. Thank you for saving him. A wonderful gift for your other cat too.
Thank you so much.
We inherited 5 feral cats when we moved in. They were wild. My husband is their slave. We trapped many of them and got them fixed, but our cat tribe keeps excepting new ones. Now we have 30 that we try to feed. SOME WE CAN NOT CATCH. the animal shelter keeps saying they are booked up. We have 2 that come in.
Good day beautiful,
We are kindred spirit. My love and I have taken in every cat that we've ever owned that was dumped and thrown away like trash.
At first I said don't look them in the eye because we can't afford kitty litter and cat food.
Guess what I looked him in the eye and I was hooked.
I had a cat named lady and I tried not to take her in I would feed her outside but I picked her up and her claws were growing into her pads and it smelled very bad. I immediately cut what I could. I took her to the vet and he estimated that she was 17 years as tears rolled uncontrollably down my face .I gave her 2 years of love happiness and at the end I would even carry her to her litter box and then she left me.
Thank you for being an angel and saving this beautiful boy.❤💕🐈
Much love,
Rennie and Rick
God bless you for rescuing this beautiful cat.
Been following Kittybaby since the beginning! He's so sweet
Why not let him come and go, cats can be indoor and outdoor cats.
Ignorance recent.
10,000 yrs cats symbiotic with you. You in their territory not they yours.
BEFORE cities, towns, houses, huts they’ve been with us.
Pretend you have some common sense and education.
One generation onky feminist pc movies tv books outdoor street cats commonly with others.
He is scared of the toes as soon as seen it turns around go back outside, he is like Hell noooo I'm out of here 😂
He’s beautiful. Thank you for closing that door and keeping him inside. He’s got a cozy life now.
He looks exactly like my cat busya.
