i don’t see how any of you are guessing moroi when you only watched one hunt. i’m guessing yokai. it quite literally wrapped around the kitchen island and left, that 2.5m distance had him lost. also don’t seen how anyone is guessing twins after only having info from one room.

I guess my ears aren't as good as I thought. It seems the answer is Twins, but that first "slow" hunt honestly sounded faster than a normal ghost to me.
I'm between Twins and Moroi, I'd have waited for another hunt to double check

Not Onryo (didnt hunt after 3rd blowout), not wraith (stepped in salt), not polty (throwy but not rapidly), not yokai, not mimic (no orbs).
No spirt test done, nothing that says Mare, blinks looked normal
That leaves Twins or Moroi. First hunt sounded slow second was faster. Would have assumed the mirror would jave drained sanity heavily so a moroi would always be fast. The hunt in the kitchen also puts me in mind of twins activity range increase so gonna go Twins

My dumbass thought it was a yokai because he kept walking away from you during hunts lol. I was like "oh yeah theres the dummy Yokai" when really the dummy was me

Reading these comments proves the reason I'm ass at this game, I thought it was a onryo because it blew out 2 candles within 20 seconds and then thought it was phantom because of slow blinks

It is a yokai if you didn’t know if your ghost is a yokai the counter in the kitchen at tanglewood works like a hiding spot because yokais can’t see you from far away
I'm confused it looked like there was a Mare light flip. But the one chase from living room to kitchen sounded faster than normal but it had LOS for quite some time it seemed.
I know for sure it's not
Deo – speed is too different
Mimic – No orbs
Wraith – Disturbed Salt
Polter – barely threw and weak throws
Phantom – Too Visible during hunt
Moroi – Speed too slow when broke the Mirror
Onryo – No hunt after 3 blow outs
Spirit and Yokai I'm not feeling but that is just gut with nothing really pointing there, the fact no smudge test or Yokai test was done also makes me lean this way.
I'm torn between Mare and Twins. The first hunt I personally can't make out the sound of the foot steps enough over the heart beat to tell what speed it actually was so that don't help me out.
I do know the second hunt ghost had LOS a min of 5 seconds which means it's 125% base speed which is just a tad slower then what we hear.
i genuinely thought it was moroi since i never play on 100% and i heard it stepping fast, but twins makes sense
