  1. The federal government has been dealing with asylum situation for 3 1/2 years, can you now switch gears and pay attention to the states that are in need of hurricane disaster, relief, it’s life and death!?!?!?

  2. There are plenty of places inland in Florida, some within no more than a few miles of the ocean, that can have elevations as much as 25 feet or more. Nothing wrong with having a home in such locations. Unfortunately, many homes were built in the '50s and '60s on canals on both coasts, with elevations of no more than 3 to 5 ft. A recipe for a disaster when even a mild hurricane hits. The only thing that will stop this is for the federal government to quit underwriting the heavily subsidized federal flood insurance in such areas.

  3. More than $1 billion in FEMA funds given to illegal immigrants by Biden and Harris and now there are only pennies left for American taxpayers. The federal government is a joke! Time for new leadership.

  4. I think most people are missing something significant. Sure, don't build so close to the beach, dumb developers, etc. BUT, .most of coastal FL going for a mile or two inland is at risk. As sea levels rise, storms get larger and more frequent, not just coastal areas are at risk. This has been known for decades….

  5. I wonder if at some point.. some parts of states like Florida will be deemed inhabitable..I can’t imagine my life getting uprooted like this because of a natural disaster every 3-5 years. God bless those affected ❤

  6. So interesting that red states are the most adamant with ignoring climate change yet the rest of us are expected to pay to rebuild their homes and businesses. Ultimately, Americans that can turn climate change around and yet choose not to receive exactly what they deserve.
