I don't think it's amazing…it's just that humanes have taken sooo long to understand and realize that Animals are superior …they have instincts, emotions and intelligence that far surpass mankind. Pls be kind and understan animals.
It's a beautiful yet heartbreaking story. I just finished the book yesterday, "Elephant Whisperer". I highly recommend it along with "The memory of an elephant" and "Modoc". They are also amazing true stories of elephants.
Moments like this make you realize Jesus was here and died for us.. Moments like this or anything kind in a day is what will be..

I know Elephants are amazing but I just don't believe this, though I'd like to.
It's quite baffling that these elephants without understanding what a calendar is know what day exactly this great man's death was (especially when there's leap years).
Truly this absolute devotion, and it proves that love for a friend outside their species CAN exist.

This is an incredible story. This kind and devoted human being devoted his life so that these elephants could live and thrive. Elephants seem to have a way of understanding things on a very deep level. They sensed the goodness in this man's attitude towards them and have honored him for years after for what he did for them.
