2. As far as OP's recording I definitely heard what sounded like "oh, hello" but I didn't hear anything else. I wonder if the neighbor was out walking and they got an unexpected phone call and his voice was picked up on the app.

11. I wonder how many of us have encountered these creepy scenarios in our life or were in dangerous situations but never realized it. I encountered two that I know of in my life.

    1) I grew up an expat child. We were staying at a hotel with other expat families till the company homes we would move into were available. I was in grade 2 at the time and with all the other kids staying at the hotel we would play hide n' seek – this meant using the elevator to hide out on the other 30 some floors or in the stairwells. Alone I took the elevator to the top floor in the building and exited. As I rounded the corner from the bank of elevators I ran into a man and woman. The man tried to grab my arm but I pulled away. A sort of stand off ensued. The man and woman were about fifteen feet away from me while I was closest to the bank of elevators. The man took a chocolate bar out of his pocket and held it out to me offering it to me. This of course meant approaching the couple to take it which I had no intention of doing. I also remember the chocolate bar had nuts in it and I hated nuts. Right when it looked like the man might lunge at me the elevator doors dinged and someone got off on that floor. As soon as the elevator doors dinged the man and woman left in the opposite direction. It is sobering how the smallest things in life can be so life changing. I don't remember who got off on that floor but I remain eternally grateful.

    2) When I was a teenager in high school I drove my mom's jeep. I was leaving a friend's house when I noticed a car was following me. The distance between my friend's house and my house was about a 30 minute drive so there was no way he coincidentally had the same route as me. At one point I made a wild turn across a grass median and "he" followed me. I actually found it sort of exciting so I tried losing him, but in a jeep that had a top speed of 80 km/hr. that wasn't going to happen. When I pulled into the driveway of my house he was still following, so I parked in the driveway, got out of my car and went to confront him. He immediately put his car in reverse and sped off. Sort of ironic that the man with probably nefarious intentions was scared off by my actions. I should have been scared myself but I was more curious about who he is was and what he wanted. After all I was male, not female. That said when I was 17 I looked 14.
