The 2024 Red Bull Hardline course is brand new! A whole new top section of downhill track is going to push the worlds fastest World Cup racers to ride further and rougher features than ever. This is my first track walk video with the pro athletes seeing everything through new eyes. But the news is now official that the river gap is being removed from the track. So although I tested the insane canyon gap on Friday with Bernard kerr and Jim monro who had the crazy crash – the decision has been made to remove it from the course and create a plan for the future to make it work better for all riders. My god, watching you do multiple runs of this course the other day pov style cam was one thing… but this video of a walk through you see the track with so much more depth and reality! 😮 some of that is nuts!

The big road drop was mental but there is a big difference between that and a possible death gap. The take off transition was far too steep with no contingency for shorting it. Good to see sense prevail in the era of big sponsored caffeine drink insanity. Kudos for the send but I bet 50% of the field would not have sent that.

Great video for sure, the inside peek is great for the fans. Glad to see the river gap is being reconsidered from a safety standpoint for the riders. We watch to see them succeed and that gap jump looks to be a 50% or so success rate. Keep up the efforts and thanks for sharing!
