While most married couples will have individually have at least one or two extramarital affairs during their marriage, assuming the marriage survives the affair, the reasons for such affairs are exactly what are covered within the LGBTQ+ framework. The power of the LGBTQ+ Movement has to do with the innermost drives and emotions wherewith each and every individual, regardless of sexual and emotional orientation, live out our daily lives, confronted by the pressures both within ourselves and around us, the very subject being covered within the realms of both sociology and psychology

  2. I had a conversation with a theist one time who claimed that Jesus was both the son of god and god himself. I pointed out that if a man has a child, we would never call that child both the child of the man and the man himself. His response? "God isn't supposed to make sense to humans." Yet here was a human claiming to have made sense of god. Amazing.

  3. He'd feel so much better if he accepted his reality rather than fighting his "impulses" every day. Making others miserable about their reality while denying his own is just evil.

  4. As an Ace Christian who recently brought Pride merch this. is. hilarious. My orientation -lack of attraction-was no more a choice than being gay is.

  5. I believe this is his message, "God loves you. He wants to be alone or with someone you aren't attracted to, for the rest of your life." 🤦‍♂️

  9. Regarding the statement about kids knowing they're gay, you're absolutely right. When I was 10 I had a crush on my friend who was a girl, but at the time I just thought "oh, well, I have so many crushes, it would only make sense that one of them would be a girl". But then I found out what it meant to be bi and developed a crush on another girl at my school, so I realised I was bi at the age of 11. Unfortunately, most bi-related YouTube content I watched had to do with biphobia (either biphobia itself or people reacting to biphobia) so I was under the impression that the majority of people would be biphobic. I also knew that I was trans when I was 11, and I knew I was non-binary when I was 12, but I had ignorant people in YouTube comment sections tell me that I couldn't possibly be NB because I was "just a kid".

  10. 22:13 It worked in the past, and sadly, still works today. Get people to fear eternal damnation, and propose your religion as the only solution from that, and they will be joining your religion, just on Pascals wager.

  11. If everyone had to consciously make a choice on being heterosexual, than everyone would basically be bisexual or allosexual.

  12. I'd like to be a street preacher, but for queer-positive, ecumenical, Progressive Christianity (like the "woke pastor"). Gotta make it entertaining, though, so my plan is to dress in over-the-top femboy cosplay drag and play an instrument. No yelling necessary. Maybe I can trigger some Conservative Evangelicals into debating what the Bible actually teaches. 🙂

  13. What I got out from Sodom and Gomorrah was that the city's men wanted to gang rape the visiting men. Def not consenting, so this was a sin. What does Lot do? He offers up his underage daughters to the men to be gang raped in their place. Again, unconsenting. How is this a good thing?

  14. I'd just like to comment that bi-erasure is a thing. I'm bi, he might be bi. Not everyone who likes guys is gay. Minor issue in the larger context, I suppose, but it gets very annoying when you are not even represented by pro-lgbtqplus people, I've had gay guys tell me I'm in denial and everything. No, I'm just bi. We exist. Let's not hate on each other, we get enough of that from the outside
