People Getting Hit By Tornadoes Compilation – Inside Of A Tornado
Our Earth experiences many forms of natural disasters.
Earthquakes, Tsunami’s, and Hurricanes can cause destruction on a large scale, and destroy buildings and lives.
While all of these natural disasters are extremely deadly, and can occur almost anywhere in the world, there is another natural disaster which is known to strike mainly in one part of the world.
Tornado Alley spans across 8 states in central USA, and is home to more than 75% of Tornadoes on Earth each year.
Tornadoes can be absolutely beautiful to look at from a distance, creating some amazing photos as they spin across the landscape.
The USA alone receives over 1000 tornadoes per year, a figure that is 4 times higher than the amount seen in Europe.
With this many tornadoes per year, it is inevitable that houses and towns will get hit, causing destruction, injury, and even death.
While the majority of Tornadoes are rated on the lower end of the Enhanced Fujita scale, only causing light damage, that is not always the case.
The USA has not seen an EF5 Tornado for over 10 years, with the last one hitting Joplin Missouri on May 20th, 2013
Several EF-4 tornadoes are still recorded in the USA per year, which cause huge amounts of damage.
Modern Meteorology has improved a lot over the past several decades, with better and more accurate storm prediction, and more warning time for people in the path of these storms.
Storm chasers on the ground also help to report conditions live to news networks, and other media outlets in order to keep the public safe.
Storm shelters have also become more common, giving people a place to seek safety if they are caught in the path of one of these violent tornadoes.
With all of our technology, warning systems, and predictions, sometimes people are still caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Many people describe the sound of a Tornado coming toward you like a freight train, and for many that have had their lives changed by tornadoes, this sound can instantly bring back terrible memories.
In this day and age, most of us carry a phone around with us which has a camera that we can record video with.
When put in a life and death situation, some of these people turn their camera on and start recording.
Sometimes this is questionable, as people seem to want to capture an incredible video, without thinking of their own safety.
We would never recommend doing this.
However, it does mean that amazing footage is captured of what it is like to be inside of a tornado.
Today we are going to take a look at many different pieces of footage of people that were caught in the path of tornadoes.
We hope that by sharing these videos, people will learn to respect the power of tornadoes, and choose to seek shelter, or get out of the path if possible of these storms.
Sit back, grab a drink, and a snack, and prepare to watch some of the most incredible footage you are ever likely to see.

  1. There would have been so many incidents through the 60's 70's and all the way to the 2000's which would have never been caught on camera. With phones and dash cam's these days we get more footage than we ever have had in history

  2. 22:10 that footage of the people in the bunker really hit home, you could sense the fear of all of the people in the bunker, and it really shows how much these impact people's lives

  3. Theres a mistake @ 1:26 where you said Joplin was The last tornado on May 20th, 2013…..it was Moore Oklahoma on May 20th 2013 that was hit, NOT JOPLIN as you had stated……..
    Also…
Some people consider May 31st 2013, the “ El Reno tornado” to be the last EF5 but it's actually rated EF3 because of the low amount of damage but yet it was 2.6 miles wide and it was the second fastest winds ever recorded at 296 mph….
Moore Oklahoma on May 3rd 1999 had the fastest winds recorded at 302 mph by the DOW or Doppler on wheels and the team was led by Josh Wormen (sp?) ☺️👍✌️ & ♥️
