We owned dogs for decades but when our last one passed, my wife didn't want any more dogs. About a year later, a small stray kitten came up to our porch and my wife started feeding her then she brought her brother up the next day and now, 16 years later, we still have those two and about 10 other rescue cats.
At 1:53, Oscar's like, "But Mommy, you have to give ME the food first! After all, I'm the King around here." At 2:01, I love how he's acting like he's starving, even though it's probably been two minutes since he ate… 🙂
Orange tiger boys are the BEST cats ever!!! I have had 6 of them and they are by far the most affectionate and playful of all the cats I have re-homed. Blessing on all who saved this little treasure. May he live a long and loving life, thanks to all of you!!!

My first kitty was a creamy tabbie, found in a dumpster! He looked like an alien hampster when he was given to me – his eyes were so infected that they were bulging out of his tiny little skull!
I bathed him, fed him some tuna (the only thing in the house at 11pm), we made him a bed atop a hot water bottle, and we took him to the vet next day. Honestly I though he wouldn't make it till the morning, but he was up and meowing!
Antibiotics cured him, and he was able to use a catbox immediately, to my surprise! Back then there was a soft dry food, "Kitten Vittles", that he was able to eat. He slept on my my hand, resting on my pillow the second night. For the rest of his 22 years on this Earth, he slept like a person, getting under the covers with his head on my pillow, first giving me a kiss goodnight, then lovingly gazing at me till we fell asleep. He was the only cat I ever knew that played fetch, and wanted to be with his person every second he could.
