No excuse for cruise ship accidents. They have stabilizers and front and rear thrusters. What I saw was misjudgment and excessive speed. Unless you’re adrift with no power, I can’t see an excuse.

But look, there are lifts there – in the backcountry people kick off slides, on purpose, 10x that size just to surf them down for fun.
