Gary Thomas interviewed my ex wife and her husband along with my wife and me telling our stories about how we divorced and how God reconciled us but not to remarriage. We raised our kids together well but the one thing that came out was my porn/sex addiction that ultimately lasted 35 years. From age 11 to 46. So much more came out in the ensuing years but what God did in bringing redemption and healing to all hearts has been incredible. I was a full time worship leader, had an affair and walked out on a pregnant woman carrying my baby. it was so dark but God revealed his love and freedom and the rest is history
Greatv!
What God has joined together let no man separate. Covenant is forever!
Powerful 🔥💯 Thank you both for your growth, transparency, and maturity. Absolutely beautiful 💕
God hates divorce. People only divorce because their flesh overides their spirit. Marriage is not about feelings but rather commitment. You made a Covenant.
We are excited to buy the course and journal. We live in frisco and attend hope fellowship. We saw you live and love the family friendly comedy. I love how you have your wife on the podcast. That’s awesome.

OH this was soooooo good! Michael Junior is that one friend that keeps tossing the elephant in the room🤣. While his wife would be sliding it out by the carpet it's standing on, he'd be throwing it back through the window😂🤣My Lord, this was hilarious. My ex-H and I are cool, the one thing I think bothered him, is that I'm now married to the man he spoke so negatively to about me, the one man that told him to fight for his marriage and would actually pray with him through the night for God to restore things, telling him "man you have a good wife." Everyone is cool now, but our daughter says he still plays old home videos and his wife yells at him when she catches him watching them, so I pray for his wholeness and that he understands the need to release the past, put away his pride and celebrate the beauty of what he has now. His wife is an amazing bonus mom to my daughter. I'd take her over him if I had to choose LOL. Great interview!
Hey there 😊
I wonder if these guys are going through some grieving.
To lose a mate is difficult.
Curious if they knew the answer to the question about why things were so within right away or did they have to keep probing? I like the concept. You really have to want to know! Really glad for the couple and for the work you, Micheal,Jr and Ebony are doing also. Blessings on your marriage, too.
To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else BE RECONCILED to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife. Biblically they should remarry. Marriage should reflect how Christ reconciled the us, the bride of Christ to Himself
So…. There’s a lot of biblical stuff to consider that you aren’t considering yet. The vows was a great place to start. You make a covenant. Covenants are for life. God makes the two one flesh. So, you are no longer two, but one. God allows the man to divorce his wife for formication. The women was not given a biblical allowance to initiate a divorce. Your both believers. Paul said the Lord commanded you not to separate or leave your spouse (1 Cor. 7:10-11). The certificate of divorce was made for the man to put the wife out of the house. It protected her from being stoned as an adulterous, in the Bible, because she was able to prove she was no longer his wife. Now this is where it gets messy. Jesus said an unlawful divorce is no divorce at all (Matt. 5:31-32) and any remarriage to another person is adultery (violating an active marriage covenant). So, you are both still married. If the man put away her for adultery and the marriage was nullified, then you two need to move on. Your one flesh and you bodies and hearts will still yearn for reconciliation. So, the Bible would say if your both Christian’s that you are commanded to reconcile. Only unbelieving spouses were encouraged to let be separated. Go to your pastor, get marriage concealing. You will find that you are not to separate because of the weakness of your flesh, said Paul. Satan will temp you with sexual immorality. You two made a vow. You need to seriously start considering those vows.
I pray they restore the marriage.
Michael Jr., I like what you said about curiosity and pride can't exist at the same time.
Ebony, I like your (Off the Cuff) point. So real. No experience goes wasted in the LORD.
Beautiful story, hopefully turned love story. ,🙏🏼❤️
How refreshing to see a Black woman in her 100% natural state. Absolutely beautiful.
Starting off asking them to repeat their vows was hilarious! 😂🤣
You tote the "awkward-cringe" line so well.🙈
Hey Pastor and I’m not surprised that your a pastor at all it’s written all over your face/and in your voice. And if you were trying to sell a certain point a few minutes ago you just failed!!!And my answer is no!!!@michaeljrcomedy
Good luck, guys. Love your stuff.
Looking forward to this one❤❤
