I'm very surprised to see these violations at Griffin. Our airport authority went overboard in the other direction. They informed us that per FAA regs, even if we had an active airplane in our hangar or a homebuilt under construction, we could not also have such things as a vehicle, camping equipment that is intended to be carried in the airplane, a couch, a golf cart, etc. The FAA recently provided some revised guidance that says that if you have an airplane AND some other items it is Okay. At Griffin it is obvious that there are multiple hangars being used exclusively for things that have not the faintest association with general aviation. By the way, you need to take advantage of the State of Georgia's recently expanded compliance with the 2nd Amendment and pack some heat.
I have reached the age where if" being right" is going to cause me a lot of aggravation, I will cut my losses and move on. It's not always worth it, I have won enough battles. I would move on to another airport that wants me and quit giving Griffin any acknowledgement and make news at the new airport. Let Griffin wallow in their sewer. Yeah, they "win" but who cares, nobody will ever hear about them. Just one old mans opinion.
