And this is why I've never gotten my back work done. The you'll either be perfect or Fudged there ain't nice middle and I can't afford more time off
Take care of yourself I had a spine fusion from L 1 to my pelvis
Frightening story glad you are ok 🙏🏽
Bro you left us hanging finish the story!
I hate it when the host has a story or somebody has a story and the other person has heard it or something but the story is for us at the moment the listener and the other person that knows the story already is just like, "yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah" I'll dismissive and rude anytime but especially rude because it rushes the storyteller and I don't know the fucking story
Medical tyranny, abuse, and malpractice is tight!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One out of four patients at a hospital are injured by the hospital itself
Never schedule any medical procedure for a Friday. Accidents and errors go up as the week progresses. They're just humans and by Friday they are more likely to be tired and rely more on "auto-pilot".
Jesus, man. That's rough. Glad to see you in the chair telling it.
@03:15 Man, you're lucky you're not an addict who's in recovery… I have urinary retention issues. It's mostly from kidney stones but a lot of the drugs I was on can cause it as well, & maybe some prostate issues but I'm not sure. It used to be a lot worse, but it still happens from time to time. So, back when I started the recovery process, it was brutal. The nurses working did not give a fuck, & had to deal w/junkies trying all types of shit to get out of piss tests all day. In 1 of the offices, the rule was that if you couldn't go w/in 3 minutes they had to stand & watch the pee leave your dick/vagina for the test to be valid, which is just insane. It used to take me 2 minutes just to get going, & a lot of the time it was like as soon as I'd start to feel the urge to piss it was "Time's up." as soon as I was about to go, then 1 time they said "If you can't go in 2 minutes youll have to go to the hospital & have a cathider put in, or we can automatically fail your test." & i was like "Then fail the test, 'cause im not doing that." & i found out later she was full of shit & just didn't want me to mess up her schedule, so 🖕🏻🧔🏼♂️🖕🏻 that lady. Every 2 weeks I had to do this shit. You can not imagine the amount of anxiety I would get sometimes having to go piss in front of a stranger in 3 minutes flat. Nowadays the office I go to therapy & counseling in is more up-scale, less strict & I can pretty much go, immediately but every now & then, if for whatever reason I just don't have to go, that old sense of panic creeps back up on me & I swear I have some form of undiagnosed PTSD (piss test stress disorder) from the mean-ass unforgiving nurses that just did not give a fuck, & treated you as if you were nothing but either a liar or inconvenience to them or both, but I guess when your job is watching people piss all day, it's understandable.
And people say that Canadian hospitals have long wait times. 😛
And shit woke doctors
I have factor V Leiden too!! Multiple DVT's & PE's.. I've had so many doctors try & give me nitroglycerin. I guess it's more likely that a relatively healthy 30yo having a cardiac event than a PE for the 4th time..
The exact thing happened to me except when they threatened the catheter I called the bluff…. She was not bluffing
Wtf bro!!! Im glad ur doing better!
The figure wiggled your foot and went to the left……. what if its LEFTY!!!
When I was 29 I had a clot and it caused a stroke you’re lucky that didn’t happen I still have complications 15yrs later it’s wild. I best your on blood thinners indefinitely. 🙏
Gimme the nurse that needs the hours 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Maybe a little different but i have had several nose surgeries in the last 2 years. Each doctor told me they knew what was causing my issue and would help me, and it didnt. now ive had 4 surgeries that didnt help, essentially not needed, and struggling. I feel like a nose surgery junkie and thats how im treated
haha you would be the worst patient ever. If you get your surgery delayed, you should be thankful because that means someone is having a way worse time than you and needs surgery immediately, an idc is really no big deal btw its an uncomfortable thing at best. if you are walking and talking and able to give staff sass then you should be thankful to be able to do so, not every patient can do that.
I just had major back surgery 3 days ago and I’m basically paralyzed shits awful
Maybe it'll fix his annoying laugh.
< Life ruined by lumbar surgery. If you have lower back issues I highly recommend you find training with weights that put zero pressure on your lower back. Nothing involving lifting weights off the ground etc. Assisted chin/pullups, chest press machine, tricep pushdown, assisted dips, back row machine etc. Eventually you will be able to do chinups etc unnasisted. Really helped me strengthen my back and the pullups etc help stretch your back. Tens machine and inversion tables help too.
No such thing as a simple back procedure.
You can't spell Sickler without Sick.
I wish the best for your health!
Let me tell you from personal experience. When it's friday at the end of the day and you're the last procedure, they treat you like they're cleaning the kitchen to go home. They want out!!!!! You are about to have an unpleasant experience.
Glad you pulled through Bro. That's horrible
But single payer Healthcare is bad.
I could listen to you tell stories all day
Goddamn man
Omg im so sorry Ryan, you need to sue them for negligence this is ain’t right
Doctors bury their mistakes. Glad you’re around to share this story such that people can be aware of the dangers associated with putting your entire trust into the hands of any medical staff.
👀👀👀 That shadowy figure was checking on his package before taking it back w/ him…
Is he vaccinated 😮
That not my emergency line got me fucked up with the truth
Back surgery is always risky. My uncle had a few fused in his neck and woke up with no sense of feeling in one of his pinkies. I have a tenant who had a couple of ruptured disks in his back, he woke up with no feeling in his legs. He can walk but he has to be careful. Risky
"If he dies…he dies" is legendary! Hilarious ad lib
Blood Clots plagued my dad his whole life. And in the end its what lead to countless strokes and what finally killed him. Glad this all worked out and I hope for a healthy rest of your life. Love the Honeydew! <3
i 💙 ryan sickler
That laugh makes me want to rip my ears off!! Why have such a gross FAKE laugh..Bert does this too!
Bring me back a nurse with a car payment 😂😂😂😂
It’s almost like going to the hospital in Idiocracy these days. Put this tube in your mouth and that tube in your butt…….no uhh swap those….
That’s crazy I’ve also got factor 5, factor 5 causes clotting issues, and I believe both parents have to have it to pass it on to the children
"That's plenty."
If them being 8 hours late wasn't enough for you to back out of that surgery and go somewhere else then that's on you
Is that the white Eric Griffin? I’ve had 3 major back surgeries 😢they didn’t work, my last op was a 9 hr one putting nuts and bolts in me. Fun times.
this literally happened to me a few months ago with lung surgery, except they took me down to the depths of the hospital and left me there, without a phone or a magazine, for like 4 hours before i got my turn. pure evil.
So what happened? Did he die? I hate cliffhangers!
I had foot surgery in august – it was supposed to be “simple” too and there were complications. It sucks! Hoping things get better for you ❤
