  1. I don't know the truth on this subject but to play devils advocate (no pun intended)- here me out.

I deeply respect both speakers. I've watched many of Dr. Mishlove's videos on YouTube and quite a few of the videos on this channel. I've also viewed many other NDE videos on YouTube. And, I've read a fair amount on the subject of religion.

But, I remain skeptical. Here's why. Let's say there is an afterlife- of any sort- hardly makes any difference which sort- if there is any- that's fantastic- and I hope there is! But, what I'd like to know is why is there this duality between this world we live in, full of pain and suffering, (lots of good stuff too of course)- and the glorious afterlife? Why should this every day reality exist if there is a spiritual reality? Who or what made this distinction? And why?

Christianity blames it on "the fall" of Adam and Eve- they sinned and we all suffer the consequences. But that fable is old and tired and rather silly. So what other explanation is there? So we can have a chance to grow, spiritually, in order to not reincarnate? hmmmm…. maybe- but that's not convincing to me. Could it be argued that without this ordinary world- there wouldn't be any way to create souls to inhabit the spiritual reality? Also not convincing.

In so many of the NDEs- I hear people saying that on the other side- it's all "the light" filled with love, welcoming the newly dead soul. But, why doesn't that wonderful light so full of love stop all the suffering and evil on this ordinary world? Of course all religions try to solve this dilemma, but once again, not convincingly.

I can't explain why the evidence that Dr. Mishlove offers is faulty- but I've always thought if something seems too good to be true, it's probably not true. Otherwise, I enjoy Dr. Mishlove's discussions. He certainly has a wonderful soul! I like the way he smiles so much- not common among intellectuals. 😃

I think we all need to consider that we tend to believe what we want to believe. We can't think of anything more horrible than death. So, any religion/philosophy that says there is an afterlife turns the most horrible thing you can think of into the most wonderful thing you can think of. Certainly, if such an idea consoles people, then it's good that these ideas exist- even if false. But if we're going to be intellectual about the subject, we need to get past whether it consoles people or it's just wishful thinking.

Instead of such ideas of an afterlife- what I think is needed- is a philosophy that assumes there is no afterlife, yet, concludes that all things considered, this every day reality is a wonderful thing- almost Godlike because such a "creation" certainly is fantastic resulting from a big bang- that is, make the most of what we can learn from science. Despite the pain and suffering.

For those who say without religion, we'd have no morality or ethics- the simple solution to that is that morality and ethics have evolved since the human species is a social species- so we evolved to cooperate and that means we need rules to keep from killing and/or eating each other.

  2. Oh yes, I can assure it. I have recorded conversations with my father after his dead. The first time, I was recording a German class and when I listened to it, to hear if I had forgotten something I suddenly hear my father's voice saying: " Así es." in Spanish, because we are Spanish. So I went on recording, asking questions. Some other came through when he couldn't come and I heard :"Tu papá te quiere mucho." Or in German :"Du musst mehr auf dich achten", which means, you must care more of yourself. So, yes

  3. William James is mentioned a lot in the books & lectures of Dr. Joseph Murphy who taught Divine Science & spoke of how his sister, a nun, who showed up in his home while he was on the phone with a friend! He told her had he known she was coming, he’d have picked her up at the airport! 😂 She then proceeded to tell him that she had just passed in Britain & told him of her diagnosis, while drinking coffee & spent about 6 minutes with him before she vanished! He tells of this in a lecture someone has out that takes place in Germany. The excerpt is entitled, ‘God Intoxicated.’ It is fascinating! (Murphy knew that reality was first imagined, just as his contemporaries, Neville Goddard & Earnest Holmes, and the Fillmores & a host of others were just flooded with this knowledge during the 1800’s to 1900’s! Catherine Ponder from Unity Church is in her mid nineties & she had taught this as a Unity minister! Betty White went to Unity! 😊

  4. I LOVE Dr. Jeffrey Mishlove! ✨💎✨How COOL is that to have the only Ph. D. in ParaPsychology From UC, Berkeley! I didn’t know that about him! Thanks, gentlemen! As I’m watching Dr. Mishlove talk, I’m realizing he looks half his age!!! ABSOLUTELY FASCINATING! 😁🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼. GREAT INTERVIEW!!! 😉👍🏼🙌🏼

  5. I believe that when we die we will be reunited with our dead relatives. Why do I say this? Because days before my Dad died he was talking outloud to his deceased mother!!!

  6. I love New Thinking Allowed, and I’ve only watched like the tip of the iceberg of the YouTube channel, you can see all of the throwback tv series on the website and it’s so much, it’s awesome, so interesting! ☯️
I’ll have to read that PK Man book, that’s crazy! I think what all the afterlife evidence shows us is that it’s not even just an afterlife, it’s there at the same time all the time and we can access it from our point of view from being grounded in to the true capabilities of the body (which is not the low energy common state that is produced in most cultures). I totally agree that the communication we can have with each other about this stuff is becoming so widespread that it’s getting others to wake up so much more quickly, and then I think for our future we’re supposed to come to the hundredth monkey effect in human kind with these psi abilities that we could have to evolve humanity in a positive direction. I’m interested to read that book he wrote now, and his Bigelow essay. It must be the same people that have owned Skinwalker Ranch now that he mentioned it?.. hmm mysterious!!!!? So cool thank you!

  7. I’ve already shared my experience in the comments but the part where he said after someone has an experience it completely changes them. This is exactly what happened to me. I feel so spiritually connected after the life altering changes I had. Felt the need to share again in case someone hasn’t read them.

My husband passed away suddenly in a car accident. The second I heard he was killed I collapsed and sobbed from the bottom of my soul. The pain was so intense. I had a physical pain below my breast but above my belly button that never went away. Drinking, drugs, nothing helped. Also my Dad had a heart attack from the shock and watching me suffer later the next day after the accident. He was on life support and we didn’t know if he was going to survive. 1 month to the day of the accident I laid down for a nap with my 3 precious baby boys. I woke up and closed my eyes again but suddenly I was in a different place. Very bright but I couldn’t make out the shape of anything that had color. Standing directly in front of me was the other half of my heart. He was absolutely perfect. We always called each other, “ My Other. “ He was so beautiful there’s no words to describe him. We talked and I asked are you really here? He said yes. I said are you real?! And he laughed and said yes like sarcastically. Then he hugged me. When he did I felt the love he felt for everyone he left behind in the spot where the pain was. I don’t know how to explain that. But it made perfect sense in that…place. When I woke up I had tears of joy pouring down my face. The spot where the pain had turned warm and there was no more pain. Up until that moment I couldn’t look at pictures or talk about him. I jumped up and pulled out every picture I had put away. Seeing those beautiful green eyes smiling back at me I knew it was him in that dream. The other wild thing, my phone was on silent. I had 6 missed calls. My Dad woke up while I was in the dream❤ He also had a near death experience and wasn’t afraid of death anymore. Just had to share my experience. Love the show ❤

My Dads NDE is in the next comment

  8. He describes the mechanistic approach very well !!!!
Christs message was supernatural usurped by the establishment (Church), and then Christians made any of the ancient peoples knowledge of the supernatural into something bad ; the supersticious beliefs of 'savages' .. even evil ! Hence our total disregard for these ancient wisdoms.

  9. isnt it funny how its the science relies on evidence, but when evidence for something beyond their understanding comes along its the scientifically minded who refuse to accept the evidence 🙄and many probably sit in church reciting words about a middle eastern man who was resurrected from the dead !!! the only 'evidence' being a disciple with a very english name touching his wounds …

  10. Is a star sentient? I think so!! I was atheist for 20 years (previously devout Mormon 43 yrs)
I went river rafting during covid and laid on Colorado River Bank first nite watching to see first star as we relaxed to sleep.
When I saw it pop out the most strange sensation instantly came over me that the star said Hello!!! To me!!! Very personal… I woke last year in August… Christian Sundbergs pre-birth story resonated me wide open. Happy to be watching your videos today. Many amazing things have been brought to me to wake me up… wow!!! I'm still deep rest healing but YouTube is my guides favorite way to get me info. It's a modern day miracle.
    THANK YOU🥰😍🤩🤗

  11. I've got a lot of respect for Jeffery Mishlove. He's helped me to understand myself more than he could ever know.
He's a beautiful human being and very unique.🌹

  12. What are you talking about that Russia is doing an 'immense' amount of evil and those of the so called Axis powers in WWII were doing all of it as well and the Western powers were and are now the 'saviors' of the planet? Have you lost your mind? The West and specifically Our country is doing all the so called 'evil' in the world. Doesn't Any of your spiritual insight tell you anything about that? Your studies in the eastern philosophies should have revealed some of the fallacies of the West's desires and/or goals in their material and competitive pursuits.
There is No good or evil, but only choices by humans and the consequences and/or experiences thereof.
We have found the enemy and/or evil and its US!
Take Responsibility for our Thoughts, Words and Actions should be the Call to Battle NOT to guns and bombs!

  13. Listed below is a segment from 'Saved by the Light of the Buddha Within'…

My new understandings of what many call 'God -The Holy Spirit' – resulting from some of the extraordinary ongoing after-effects relating to my NDE…

Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what some scientists are now referring to as the unified field of consciousnesses. In other words, it’s the essence of all existence and non-existence – the ultimate creative force behind planets, stars, nebulae, people, animals, trees, fish, birds, and all phenomena, manifest or latent. All matter and intelligence are simply waves or ripples manifesting to and from this core source. Consciousness (enlightenment) is itself the actual creator of everything that exists now, ever existed in the past, or will exist in the future – right down to the minutest particles of dust – each being an individual ripple or wave.

The big difference between chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and most other conventional prayers is that instead of depending on a ‘middleman’ to connect us to our state of inner enlightenment, we’re able to do it ourselves. That’s because chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo allows us to tap directly into our enlightened state by way of this self-produced sound vibration. ‘Who or What Is God?’ If we compare the concept of God being a separate entity that is forever watching down on us, to the teachings of Nichiren, it makes more sense to me that the true omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence of what most people perceive to be God, is the fantastic state of enlightenment that exists within each of us. Some say that God is an entity that’s beyond physical matter – I think that the vast amount of information continuously being conveyed via electromagnetic waves in today’s world gives us proof of how an invisible state of God could indeed exist.

For example, it’s now widely known that specific data relayed by way of electromagnetic waves has the potential to help bring about extraordinary and powerful effects – including an instant global awareness of something or a mass emotional reaction. It’s also common knowledge that these invisible waves can easily be used to detonate a bomb or to enable NASA to control the movements of a robot as far away as the Moon or Mars – none of which is possible without a receiver to decode the information that’s being transmitted. Without the receiver, the data would remain impotent. In a very similar way, we need to have our own ‘receiver’ switched on so that we can activate a clear and precise understanding of our own life, all other life and what everything else in existence is.

Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day helps us to achieve this because it allows us to reach the core of our enlightenment and keep it switched on. That’s because Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what scientists now refer to as the unified field of consciousnesses. To break it down – Myoho represents the Law of manifestation and latency (Nature) and consists of two alternating states. For example, the state of Myo is where everything in life that’s not obvious to us exists – including our stored memories when we’re not thinking about them – our hidden potential and inner emotions whenever they’re dormant – our desires, our fears, our wisdom, happiness, karma – and more importantly, our enlightenment.

The other state, ho, is where everything in Life exists whenever it becomes evident to us, such as when a thought pops up from within our memory – whenever we experience or express our emotions – or whenever a good or bad cause manifests as an effect from our karma. When anything becomes apparent, it merely means that it’s come out of the state of Myo (dormancy/latency) and into a state of ho (manifestation). It’s the difference between consciousness and unconsciousness, being awake or asleep, or knowing and not knowing.

The second law – Renge – Ren meaning cause and ge meaning effect, governs and controls the functions of Myoho – these two laws of Myoho and Renge, not only function together simultaneously but also underlies all spiritual and physical existence.

The final and third part of the tri-combination – Kyo, is the Law that allows Myoho to integrate with Renge – or vice versa. It’s the great, invisible thread of energy that fuses and connects all Life and matter – as well as the past, present and future. It’s also sometimes termed the Universal Law of Communication – perhaps it could even be compared with the string theory that many scientists now suspect exists.

Just as the cells in our body, our thoughts, feelings and everything else is continually fluctuating within us – all that exists in the world around us and beyond is also in a constant state of flux – constantly controlled by these three fundamental laws. In fact, more things are going back and forth between the two states of Myo and ho in a single moment than it would ever be possible to calculate or describe. And it doesn’t matter how big or small, famous or trivial anything or anyone may appear to be, everything that’s ever existed in the past, exists now or will exist in the future, exists only because of the workings of the Laws ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ – the basis of the four fundamental forces, and if they didn’t function, neither we nor anything else could go on existing. That’s because all forms of existence, including the seasons, day, night, birth, death and so on, are moving forward in an ongoing flow of continuation – rhythmically reverting back and forth between the two fundamental states of Myo and ho in absolute accordance with Renge – and by way of Kyo. Even stars are dying and being reborn under the workings of what the combination ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ represents. Nam, or Namu – which mean the same thing, are vibrational passwords or keys that allow us to reach deep into our life and fuse with or become one with ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’.

On a more personal level, nothing ever happens by chance or coincidence, it’s the causes that we’ve made in our past, or are presently making, that determine how these laws function uniquely in each of our lives – as well as the environment from moment to moment. By facing east, in harmony with the direction that the Earth is spinning, and chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo for a minimum of, let’s say, ten minutes daily to start with, any of us can experience actual proof of its positive effects in our lives – even if it only makes us feel good on the inside, there will be a definite positive effect. That’s because we’re able to pierce through the thickest layers of our karma and activate our inherent Buddha Nature (our enlightened state). By so doing, we’re then able to bring forth the wisdom and good fortune that we need to challenge, overcome and change our adverse circumstances – turn them into positive ones – or manifest and gain even greater fulfilment in our daily lives from our accumulated good karma. This also allows us to bring forth the wisdom that can free us from the ignorance and stupidity that’s preventing us from accepting and being proud of the person that we indeed are – regardless of our race, colour, gender or sexuality. We’re also able to see and understand our circumstances and the environment far more clearly, as well as attract and connect with any needed external beneficial forces and situations. As I’ve already mentioned, everything is subject to the law of Cause and Effect – the ‘actual-proof-strength’ resulting from chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo always depends on our determination, sincerity and dedication.

For example, the levels of difference could be compared to making a sound on a piano, creating a melody, producing a great song, and so on. Something else that’s very important to always respect and acknowledge is that the Law (or if you prefer God) is in everyone and everything.

NB: There are frightening and disturbing sounds, and there are tranquil and relaxing sounds. It’s the emotional result of any noise or sound that can trigger off a mood or even instantly change one. When chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day, we are producing a sound vibration that’s the password to our true inner-self – this soon becomes apparent when you start reassessing your views on various things – such as your fears and desires etc. The best way to get the desired result when chanting is not to view things conventionally – rather than reaching out to an external source, we need to reach into our own lives and bring our needs and desires to fruition from within – including the good fortune and strength to achieve any help that we may need. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo also reaches out externally and draws us towards, or draws towards us, what we need to make us happy from our environment. For example, it helps us to be in the right place at the right time – to make better choices and decisions and so forth. We need to think of it as a seed within us that we’re watering and bringing sunshine to for it to grow, blossom and bring forth fruit or flowers. It’s also important to understand that everything we need in life, including the answer to every question and the potential to achieve every dream, already exists within us.

  14. Even if you were not into NDE's, paranormal, or Spirituality just looking at and hearing Dr. Mishlove you gotta Love this man, he even has Love in his name…Incredible credentials for such a happy soul. Can you tell I really enjoyed this podcast. Alex you do such a great job of focusing on your guess while at the same time drawing out such profound info. Thanks looking forward to hearing what is next…

  15. I experienced a dream similar to his, my Oma who had passed a few years prior visited me. The amazing thing about that contact is the powerful and pure sense of love that they convey. That feeling is so GOOD!! I tried to talk about my dream with professors (too)etc…nobody got it.

  16. Great video as always.. I feel it's hard for people to be their authentic self because of how they think people will perceive them because of how they perceive the world so they tuck their true selves away and play a role to be accepted and not judged.(not everyone) Now, why do people care so much about what other people think and what they have to say? Simply because what the more say and do rings true. For example, there are 100 people in the world. 40 of those people are studying astronomy, 34 are studying business, 24 are studying business and 2 are studying life after death. Instead of thinking we are all different and have different interests in the world, some people would look at this as abnormal. So if you're doing anything that's out of someones perception or how they were taught to look at things, some people side eye or look at it as ridiculous. Which makes people afraid to be their authentic self because they don't want to be ridiculed or rejected. Sometimes it's easier to play a role.

  17. I feel like time, for me, is more of a sense of the measurement of decay 😃 rather than the rotation of the sun. Although the rotation of the sun is part of how we measure decay.

  18. A great interview with Jeffrey. I think his later comment that we are all fundamentally one answers the question of reincarnation. Our identity during our lifetime on earth consists in where we're born, when we're born, our family, cultural, and religious identity, the events and choices of our life. My life is not a continuation of the life story of someone else. Maybe we're each like a drop from the Ocean of Consciousness, sometimes called God, and when we die, we return to that Ocean. Each newborn child is another drop from that Ocean. That a child "remembers" the story of a previous life doesn't necessarily mean that they are the reincarnation of that person, but maybe they are somehow connected to that life story to the extent that it seems like they are the same people. Watching a good movie about someone's life can make us feel as if we are that person, with all the emotions connected to that life. And if we're all one, then we're all connected either consciously or unconsciously, and we all could consider ourselves the reincarnation of everyone else.

And we tend to forget that creation could include an infinite number of worlds. Why should we limit the number of worlds to just this one we're in and the one to come at the time of death? Perhaps one lifetime in this world, no matter how long or short, is enough, that our future development will continue in a world appropriate for our continual development. Those who experience NDE's are united in saying that they didn't want to return to their earthly life, that they didn't want to return to this world of pain, of stress, of lack of love.

  19. Having the experience of who you are is consciousness. I like that simple and true definition. The first day we go to school we easily forget more and more and without knowing who you are life is meaningless. For me hell was the first day I had to go to school to listen to all the lies.

  20. That's so interesting! When I was about four I remembered my previous death. I was impaled on a balcony, I think I was trying to do something like overstretching. It was sunny and my balcony was covered in red geraniums. I remember to this day that I was so angry with myself that I felt I'd almost completed my mission on earth and I'd messed it up by this accidental death. I felt so bad for my sons and my wife, although I'm a woman in my present lifetime. I've always been phobic about knives and feared being impaled through the solar plexus. Can't explain it but I know it's true!

  21. I wish Jeff had put more focus on the Super-PSI vs Survival aspect in his essay. Psysicalism as we know it is dead, but super-PSI among the living can potentially explain any afterlife phenomena. Of course, there only so much you can fit into an essay.

  22. Great show! Dr Jeffrey would be a great guest for Robert, the host of "Closer to Truth". Robert wants to believe in life after death and God, but seems to be influenced and sometimes intimidated by intellectuals who take themselves and their limited ideas of science, way more seriously than warranted – theories to them are seemingly more important than individual realizations and revelations. Basically they want to see before their eyes, those things that are not on the small spectrum of the electromagnetic which we can actually see.

  23. Gracias Alex de verdad siempre tus invitados son de lo mejor como Jeffrey M. , tal vez un día pudieras invitar a Divaldo Franco o a Jonh Aizpurua .

  24. From personal experience. Communication with loved ones have been real and so clear that one is truly hearing the loved ones ' voice and talking back telepathically.. The "messages" are on point. In detail.. And with so much love and humor ♥️!

  25. Jeffrey Mishlove's channel is one of my favorites. Always fascinating. Thank you for interviewing him. He mentioned children talking about their past lives. My son talked in depth about his past life until age five, and then seemed to forget about it as he became more engrossed in all the activities of this life.

  26. Great interview, Alex with such a captivating guest! Jeffrey is a brilliant, top notch communicator. I've been enjoying his stellar guests on his channel as well. Thank you, both!
