RUSSIA’s Economy is dependent upon Revenue from the sale of Oil & Gas and historically the majority of this revenue was derived from sales to Europe. European infrastructure is dependent upon Natural Gas and after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine there were major concerns about the COST & AVAILABILITY throughout the Winter Period. In this video I look at the current situation, discuss the WEATHER in the European Winter so far, look at the latest Storage Levels, Review the current Prices and discuss the impact of all of this on Europe, Russia & the Global Economy.

  1. Simple. The Russians wanted a warm winter in Europe. I don't know if they can control the climate. But whoever wanted to manage meteorological conditions would understand that it is not a purely technical matter. If it is a situation in important war conflicts, then it was written before this universe has begun and probably a thousand of our previous universes were created. Europeans see the bad weather in the United States of America and know that the Russians are on their side.

  2. Remember Russia wasting their gas by burning it for nothing during last year? This result the most of cold air pressure in the atmosphere to rush into Moscow instead of normal way how nature distribute the air pressure on seasonal basis

  3. The issue was never so much 2022/23 as 2023/24. The European storage unit were filled in anticipation. There storage units are meant for transit storage to manage demand and not for long term storage. For 23/24 Europe has nowhere to turn to to build up any such stocks. As far as Europe managing it. We'll the amount of industry either closed or on short time due to the massive increases in cost are quite shocking. In the real World Russia hasn't done anything to fuel delivery and costs. Western sanctions are totally responsible. It's known as "You can't have your cake and eat it".

  4. It’s going to get worse for Russia from here. The harsh lesson that Russia will actually use energy as an economic weapon means Europe will continue to diversify their energy supplies. They also announced €200B in accelerated renewable energy investments like wind and solar. These energy resources will replace Russian oil & gas permanently.

  5. I have never understood these topics in the past. You are a great educator. I understand all these economic topics so much better because you explain everything so clearly. Understanding the interconnection of all this and how it impacts the economy is very important. Thank you.

  6. russia could have been a decent country. Instead, it chose to destroy itself and become a 3rd world country. It's tragic and hilarious in equal measure 😁

  7. Wrong: Spoke with a friend who works as a global energy trader and he says that Russia is selling hydrocarbons hand over fist to India and China.

  8. It's coal that has saved Germany's gas reserves, 30 power stations fired up. Poland's electricity is produced by coal now, lignite included. The UK may have to fire up 2 or 3 coal plants today to avoid blackouts.

  9. Price of gas hasn’t come down for me. I like many in the UK have reduced energy usage because it now costs too much. Cost of living has increased massively.

  10. Why do you keep lying Joe you may want to check Wall Street because they seem to disagree with you mate Russian made more money last year oil and gas than they did the previous year if that's a bad year I go he but you're still going to have to keep paying 4 to 6 times price for their gas nothing's gonna change their good luck

  11. This is like a never ending story. EU trying to teach Russia a thing or two about its high morality and culture, getting slapped down by the Kremlin and expecting the Americans to come and bale them out. Europe has its ways and pays and pays.

  12. Bladdy blah blah blah, not one of your, "Russia is collapsing" predictions have come to fruition, not one; Putin and the Zman may be evil and misguided, but you sir are a propagandist!

  13. It doesn’t matter if it’s a warm winter or cold. Wives has to cock meals, which without gas it’s impossible. And driving cars or motor cycles, kamions, need oil and petrol, and better if we dont think about trains and ships. And disasters doesn’t mean that they can not sell their oil somewhere else, as they proved recently. And the crying coms later when the wetter gonna be even warmer!

  14. Obviously, the hard part of the cookie is just coming for russia. European countries financed its war until last months, but next season will be a different story. 2023 will be very, very hot for putler.

  15. More Garbage.

Over 75% of Russian Energy that was sold into Europe now goes East.

So how on earth does a Warmer Winter in Europe have anything to do with it.

  16. Every possible thing that could go wrong with Russia's invasion of Ukraine has become a reality. God sending a message to Putin….or just Karma?
