5. Dog Rescues Pandas
In 2009 a red panda at a zoo in northern China unexpectedly gave birth to 2 cubs. It was a surprise to the staff as she hid her bump pretty well… not to mention the surprise of the visitors to the zoo who were watching at the time! Maybe it was the stress or the crowd of people at the Taiyuan Zoo, but the mother abandoned them immediately after.
4. Dolphin and the Whales
When 2 whales became stranded on a beach in New Zealand in 2008, there was a desperate effort to save them. It is still sometimes a mystery as to why these magnificent creatures sometimes stray off course and wind up getting beached.
3. Dog and Kitty
Dogs and cats are usually busy hating each other. But in some cases, they can be friends. And even go so far as to look out for each other, as this story proves! In 2013, a Florida dog named Jack who belonged to a soldier was staying at his human grandma’s house while the soldier was away in Afghanistan.
2. Cat rescues Dog
Sometimes cats can be heroes too!! In Ohio in 2013, a tabby cat named Sammy went to defend the dog who people assumed was her enemy. The injured party, Izzy, enjoyed chasing Sammy around the neighborhood. So when Sammy saw Izzy was in trouble with another dog, you’d think he’d sit back and laugh! Instead he raced to help his canine buddy!

As hippos hate crocs, the hippos could be helping to deny meals to crocs.
my own dog had adopted 2 kittens which were siblings and had been given to us by friends……my dog (Penny the staffy) has never had puppies of her own but when we got the kittens, she fell instantly in love and started lactating and feeding the kittens
a while ago a random cat walked in our back door she looked so scared and hungry so we fed her and we kept her she was a really good cat and then a couple years later she passed away on Christmas
both my fams pets were rescued from the streets.
My boxer nursed a kitten we found in a parking lot for about a month and a half, which was weird bc my dog has never had kittens… I mean puppies. I literally just by accident typed kittens and went to delete that but decided to leave it bc it's funny, so anyway then a few months later the kitten got out the house and the neighbors dogs attacked it , cookie sent after the other boxer mix (neighbor's dog) and guarded the kitten until myself and the neighbors got the situation under control . I thought the kitten was dead by the way it laid in the dirt, it is dirt in it mouth ears just everywhere and also bm. I know that bm is very detailed but I'm mentioning bc i thought that to be a sign of sure death. I grabbed a towel cleaned the kitten up with qtips removing the dirt from every air way and crevice and cleaned him off. The kitten laid deathly in its make shift bed for 3 to 4 days. After the days passed the kitten walked around and went back to nursing on the mama dog and mama dog stayed guarding it. They are literally mother and son still now after a year of owning both. Mama dog of course didn't have milk. The gross part is the dog licked it's nipples to give the kitten something to have.. yes really gross but they were content. I was just as content walking away and not looking. To substitute milk (when the kitten wasnt nursing and was fully away from cookie mama) I just have the kitten water down warm whole milk from the fridge. That kitten is a trooper. We named him snufferpup" but call him cat now . He wags his tail like a dog, goes outside . The neighbor good dogs don't bother him anymore. They're a pack now and he answers to me saying here cat come on. To get him in the house. Or when I whistle. He comes running in
security animals 😀
I'd like to know the story of John's accident, how does one lose their legs bungee jumping?

One time my little mixed breed dog, he was a Jack Russell terrier and Chiuachiua, and he found three German Shepard puppys all bigger than him, that were along the road. Somehow, he gets them off the road and to come a quarter mile to our house. They had to go pass 2 different canals, and over one road. Our little dog had never left our yard, and he had dug under the fence and scraped the hair off his back getting out to get to the puppys. His claws, back, and mouth was bleeding caused by his escape. We lived way, way, way out in the country, so we heard him barking from a distance and we went to find him, and he was herding these 3 puppys, all bigger than him, they were about 5 or 6 weeks old towards our house. He was nipping their heels, licking their faces, just a little whirlwind. When he saw us get out of our truck, he looked so relieved! The next day, we went back to see what has happened. We found a burlap bag, ripped open. This was close to one of the canals, and as we tried to find the owners, we discover that they were stolen from a breeder of security dogs, and are worth $5,000.00 each. After looking at my dogs mouth, we could see that he had strings from the bag caught in his teeth. A canine behaviorist from the University of California, Davis thought that my dog, Bean, must have heard their cries, and when to them. He ripped open the sack, and decided to take them to the only place he knew was safe. Along the route he had taken, we could see in the dirt areas where he had moved the pups away from some larger dogs, and also just kept them moving. He said if Bean had not done that, most likely the pups would have died. The security company gave me the reward money they had posted, and it paid for my first semester 45 years ago. They gave Bean some new toys, a sweater that said Hero, and a new bed, that he didn't use since he slept with me, a new harness since his was torn, but what he like best of all, a stuffed German Shepard puppy toy, that he drug all over with him. When he passed 8 years later at the age of 18, we had the stuffed toy cremated with him. We spread almost all his ashes under his favorite lilac Bush, and I have a teaspoon of his ashes in a bone shaped box, to this day. Even when those pups grew up into regal police dogs, they still knew Bean, and when given permission, would lay and lick on him. They were the same species, but still vastly different.
the stoat/weasal riding the green woodpecker isnt a rescue . its the stoat/weasel trying to get a meal by killing the green woodpecker ..
This lady is the burger king foot lettuce of wildlife channels.
I sent you was hippo rescue
This past summer, my Danif Mastiff fought off a cougar to protect one of the horses the cat was attacking. There were reports all over about a mountain lion killing hogs (even a big boar), cats, dogs, small mules, sheep, goats, and other farm animals. One farmer claimed it was a large male, having seen it carry off his prized ram. The fight must have been big, because the gate of the horse's stall was wrecked and blood was everywhere. Obi (the dog) kept his friend from running off in the night and stayed with her until morning, proudly showing he'd done his job as a guard dog. After this particular night, no one lost anymore pets or livestock, and the horse suffered only a few non threatening bites thanks to Obi. Neither one needed to be taken to the vet or any stitches.
I used to have a ospra ckick!
