  1. I personally believe that there's a point where forgiveness becomes delusional. To answer your question I could never forgive someone that did that, family or not.

  2. No one really knows what they would do in a situation like this unless they were really in that situation. But as for forgiving…. No I would not be able to forgive a stranger or even my child's friends who helped, but if it was my own child I would be very hurt and very angry but through time and healing I believe I would possibly be able to forgive my own child. I do believe Kent is a example to follow. The truth is we can't begin to heal through something that horrible and tragic unless we allow forgiveness to take over our hearts.

  3. Kendall, Thank you 🙏🏼 so much for this story told as only YOU could tell it! I really needed to hear this. I was able to feel the Holy Spirit’s love, forgiveness, and ability to forgive, strongly! You never know when and where you will encounter the teachings of our Lord. Thank you Sweet Kendall❣️☺️

  4. I find it so strange that Adam, Bart's friend was just so willing to talk to Bart on how to kill his family. Even though he didn't go through with it why did he even talk about it. It's such strange behavior

And of course Bart, Steve and Chris are weird as hell for actually going through with it too

And the college roommates? What a bunch of awful weirdos

  5. Do you still have a fourm for case suggestions? I'd love to see you cover the tragic murder of Vera Jo Reigle. Watch the doc, Goodnight Sugarbabe. Very crazy and sad story.

  6. Another Houston crime. He did this for money. In the end, his dads new wife will get all the money. Men move on with their lives pretty quick.

  7. My sincerest condolences to the families of the real victims, Patricia and Kevin, who are cold in the ground. All that time spent rallying for Bart could’ve been spent honoring the lives of his slain family. This one is sickening

  8. This is definitely a tough one. I know I could ever forget what my child had done. I am a Christian so I would have to forgive. Honestly my heart would be ripped apart 💔 I can't say what I'd do under those circumstances & I don't think anyone could unless they were faced with it.

  9. I think this man was granted the ability to forgive because unlike most who suffer an stew in there anger an pain months or for years then they ask for the ability to forgive because they want to get rid of there own personal pain not because they truly want to forgive. The fact that he asked for this while the pain was fresh it JUST happened shows that he truly wanted to forgive not just to relieve his own personal suffering.

  10. Heaping public praise on those who obey the incredibly strong social pressure to "forgive" only increases the pressure on the rest of us who have suffered from violence. I'm sure you think you're being generous and kind by doing this, but in reality you're only being kind to those who obey this social mandate. There are plenty of us out there who haven't forgiven our attackers, because we think forgiveness is only for those with the capacity for genuine remorse and changed behavior, which excludes psychopaths by definition. Not a lot of people out there making videos praising us. But we've decided to do what's best for ourselves, and it would be nice if we could get some support too. Contrary to popular belief, not forgiving doesn't make us mean and spiritually unevolved, nor does it stop us from moving on with our lives or growing as people.

  11. Maybe I can understand trying to stop the death penalty but becoming "best friends" with him feels so disrespectful towards the other son and wife. I felt sorry for Kent but this also seems like a red flag to me.

  12. I think I could forgive my kid, but only after they began to serve their sentence. Justice should still be served and I wouldn't sugar coat my feelings for them. They would have to be remorseful and desire to hear how it all affected me.
