Devastating Tropical Storm Paeng ravaged the southern Philippines
on Friday. So far 63 deaths have been reported. Many people are missing. Water currents, strong winds, and unusually heavy rains caused flooding and damage in Maguindanao, Catanduanes Island, Cotabato city and Southwest Mindanao.
Nalgae hit. Due to Cyclone Paeen, heavy rains in Sinsua, landslide,
13 people died buried under the ground, many are missing. Bridges were broken by the Tibro flow of flood water, roads in many areas were impassable, crops of thousands of acres of land were destroyed. Only in Cotabato city, due to Cyclone Paeen, 67 thousand 596 families of the city were flooded. Mindanao Minister Sinarimbo said the damage was done.
Cotabato City and at least five areas in Maguindanao were flooded due to the typhoon. Severe flooding also occurred in Sultan Kudarat city. Rescue teams of maritime units are working to evacuate hundreds of people stranded in Kalamansiguet. Houses, roads, schools and shops have been submerged in water. Government, private schools and all kinds of offices and courts in the affected areas have been declared closed.
Floodwaters in Maguindanao e rose rapidly, forcing people to take shelter on rooftops. Officer Nasrullah Imam said that army personnel, police vehicles and volunteers worked quickly to rescue them. Highways in lutopan toledo and the city of Toledo in Cebu were submerged in floodwaters. Cyclone Paeen has destroyed power transmission systems in many areas with strong winds. As a result, the residents of the affected areas have to remain without electricity.
Several domestic flights have already been canceled due to bad weather.
More than 700 passengers were stranded in the Visayas and Mindanao and 1,200 in other ports.
Residents of high-risk coastal and flood-prone areas have been asked to follow Cyclone Paeen warnings. At the same time, special precautions have been taken in the material and marketing process.

one important thing to know when choosing location to live in PH, if it is flooded or not during rainy season……i used to live in manila which is flooded every year so i transfer to somewer in Cavite……no flood in a place i live
