The Life of Delicate Daella Targaryen
Spread The Viralist

In this video, we are going to take a look at the Life of Daella Targaryen. Daella Alyssa is the eighth-born child and fourth-born daughter of King Jaehaerys Targaryen and his sister-wife, Good Queen Alysanne Targaryen. Daella married Rodrik Arryn, and they had one child: Queen Aemma Arryn.

This video is primarily a compilation of selected passages from George R.R. Martin’s “Fire and Blood,” which is a companion book to his epic, high-fantasy series, “A Song of Ice and Fire”

  1. I never understood Jay-hay's insistence that she be married off so soon knowing Daella's personality and delicacy. There really was no political advantage in a forced marriage and obviously he had the wealth to support her. Was he just too prideful to have an unmarried fully-grown daughter at court and thus wanted to save himself embarrassment?

  2. The fact that the Targaryens put this much effort in making sure their kids are happy with who they married, is pretty progressive in the GOT universe. I honestly thought marriage was a political arrangement, done for power, not love

  3. Bridge4 said…Lord Corlys Velaryon, Lord of the Tides, is Blackety Black Black Black and y’all gon learn today!!! I 👏🏾AM👏🏾HERE👏🏾FOR👏🏾IT👏🏾

  4. Again you made me cry. Love the vids. I can see why she would blame her husband. He was the king, he could have done whatever he wanted. Not saying it would be right. But, it's better then the way it turned out. She would still be here.

  5. House of the Dragon is trash, but I like you diving into the stories of Jaehaerys and Alysannes children, Bridge, since so much of it is more interesting than this awful show

  6. Long time follower of the channel here. I loved the videos. Please do more like this, i would like to see the life of prince Aemon and Lady Jocelyn. Keep up the awesome content, cheers!

  7. "Find her someone, someone gentle as she is. A kind man, who will never raise his voice or his hand to her, who will speak to her sweetly and tell her she is precious and protect her,"

    That line is so beauitful.

  8. Wait if Viserys had so many kids did only one survive into adulthood what happened to all their kids and if they lived into adulthood why didn’t they put them in the show

  9. They way she is described it sounds like she might have had learning disability like dyslexia, on top of being on the delicate side. Which lets be honest, with all the inbreeding in the Targaryen line I'm shocked their haven't been more offspring born with disfigurements & disabilities.

  10. It's a shame that Daella was so afraid of dragons, as bonding with one may have helped her develop some confidence and given her a lifelong companion. Then again we know from Aemond that sometimes having a dragon can go to your head and bring out the worst in you.

  11. Jaehaerys was definitely not Father of the Year. His daughters were merely pawns. He may have loved Alysanne, but he didn’t respect women. Westeros was chock full of dead mothers and daddy issues. Too bad J’s reply to Alysanne was not recorded – I would’ve liked to have heard his mansplain.

  12. Using a black Corlys in this video is ridiculous, you are talking about the books and just pointed out how unusual black skin was for her. Pretty sure she wouldn't had thought a summer Islander was a demon of she grew around black velaryons. Pure virtue signaling when there was no need.
